JTO, your experience with D.H I thought was a one time occurence but on Instagram, I heard from other collectors that mentioned how rude and what a jerk he is towards them.

Or their mistake isn't as bad as when NGC makes a mistake. Look at the current thread ATS about a 179 half 6 dollar that has the stars engraved. It straight graded instead of details. Pretty civil.......however turn it around and NGC graded that.......holy cow, their would be a crucifixion on how terrible NGC is, why they are going downhill, blah blah blah

I get more and more annoyed all the time when I see posts regarding how NGC is terrible, they slab fakes, people should cross NGC to PCGS.....and the list goes on. So many people act like PCGS literally is so much better and makes no mistakes.......its funny when you point out something like a details coins that gets straight graded by PCGS, now PCGS fans become quiet. If that same coin was in a NGC holder.........there is a massive bashing show.....disgusting.

@gherrmann44 Did you call NGC? They have great customer service, I had called them to ask about my order and they gave a quick answer.

After a long wait, coins are (after a month now) in quality control, that means being slabbed and checked one more time before shipping/imaging and putting the grades into the system. So that means by next week I could get my coins...........welll drum rolll...........got a email that one of the coins needs conservation BUT they did note a grade for that coin........MS 62 for the 1897 10 satang!! Now here comes the hard part.....conservation is another 20 business day......so another month of waiting! ARGH!

namvette, thats unfortunate. What I don't get is, some are graded, others arent.....not consistent!!!

@namvette68 thanks for your input! I just looked and it got corrected! Whew! Now just want them to give me straight grades and send them back so I can add them all to my custom registry!

I wish heritage allowed you to get in touch with the person making you the offer.....perhaps this coin is needed for their set, has a special significance, etc but alas you will never know....

@jgenn thanks for your input.....I was thinking to let it pass but decided I wanted the right denomination on the slab and didn't want the hassle of later returning something to have it corrected.!

@coin928 Thanks for the info!!! I made another journal as my coins are now "scheduled for grading" and i spotted a error. Contacted NGC via phone and then they told me to email them what was the problem. Hopefully it gets corrected!

@DrDarryl Does your tracking still say "Received"? Mine said received on 4/30 and then today I got a email that say it was "received" again with an updated date of 5/2/18
