  1. I did not start collecting world coins until recently and didn't participate in the registry until recently. I understand that for world coins, they previously allowed PCGS in the registry but that was stopped and NGC has never reversed that decision. I like @coin928 proposal, allow PCGS coins but assign them a lower score whether its a % loss or one grade lower point value. Heck to dissuade those with 100% PCGS coins from winning the registry, if you have 25% of the coins in PCGS, you cannot win an award or get 0 points from that point on for the coins, this is so that those who have mostly NGC coins can be rewarded.

I now participate in the registry and would love if my pcgs graded world coins could be included so that I can finish my sets, I don't wish to cross them over and I will state that many many of my coins are NGC.

  2. @coin928  That was a very nice letter you sent to NGC, oh well, good thing a large number of my world registry coins are already in NGC slabs. The ones that aren't, I may one day cross them over and/or just look for a replacement that is already in NGC slab.

@gherrmann44 I love many of the custom sets, well written with lots of history regarding each coin, and many I've seen aren't even that rare, it was the way the collector presented the set which made it so enjoyable. A $1 million coin means nothing to me without a interesting picture and a meaningful description.

  3. I'm like deposito, I want them to go up but not yet....let me get what I need for my world crown collection and then go up. Some countries like China, the coins have gone up so much its hard to get certain crowns without spending $$$$.....but just 5-10 years ago or even less you can get them cheaper. Good example....thailand....even 2 years ago some coins were for example 100......now they are  500+...crazy!
