  1. A very nice assortment of gold coins. Good luck in your pursuit of the hobby.
  2. Same style - different name. A lot of that lately; makes me wonder. More new OPs here than there has been on CU in a year. Popular place, eh?
  3. Where does one find the NGC Store? Thanks.
  4. Glad you're back and congrats on the award; it is well deserved.
  5. If you do I recommend any in NGC or PCGS slabs. As I said, the market is being flooded with counterfeits. Have a good day.
  6. There have been thousands of ancient coin fakes showing up lately. Possibly the counterfeiters were not having much luck with the US market and decided to change markets.
  7. I don't know very much about moderns but that is a very nice quarter.
  8. EBay bans them today and they are right back tomorrow with a new ID. Sorry to be so negative but it's almost impossible to get rid of the crooks.
  9. Yes - I understand but No - I couldn't refuse the 'tease'. The coin as described by the OP has a CAC Bean. That alone should insure a better than average chance of an upgrade. What comes into play here is: If there is an upgrade will it still be eligible enough to receive another of CAC's rewards? If not what will be the monetary difference, if any, between a MS 66 RD CAC and a MS 67 RD? I, myself, do not have the answer to that.
  10. Could be. I agree with your motivation to question it. Agree. A very important coin such as described not in a PCGS or NGC slab. Pass.
  11. What gmarguli said makes sense. However, if you are a gambler then 'roll the dice'.
  12. I wonder who else posts pictures of this magnitude???
  13. Why don't you just show the reverse of the George V instead of trying to be tricky with that 1965 what ever?
  14. That's what I thought. Mark Feld commented that it was, in his opinion, real. I don't know enough about slabs to make a decision on this. "the sale at Heritage shows the legit slab/coin" https://coins.ha.com/itm/a/1239-5536.s
  15. ATS they are also having some discussions on counterfeit traders on EBay. Seems to me this 'Pandemic' has brought the worst out of the woodwork. This particular discussion should really concern us. The debate is whether the PCGS Slab AND the CAC bean are fake. https://forums.collectors.com/discussion/1049030/this-is-the-first-counterfeit-slab-with-cac-sticker-i-have-seen#latest
