...unfamiliar with the relative rarity of coins in ur set...the coins of different dates do not compete with each other rather they compete with other coins of the same date for points...

...operative word there is "relax" ...that is one of immeasurable side benefits of collecting, therapeutic in many diff ways...emotionally, mentally, physically all the above n at no extra cost...i equate ur "relax" to my "escape"....

...obviously u need a bigger oven or smaller pans...the ireland decimal coinage of 1985-6 had similar issues where various denominations were produced in limited numbers n either were not released for circulation or were included in mint type sets for tourists or collectors, some retail at very lofty prices....

Still cannot obtain a Patina catalog - you would think Spinks would have uploaded it by now
...they will eventually, but very low priority n very little interest in that "collection"...seriously doubt if the catalog would ever be reprinted....

...just for grins n giggles u mite look at the comparative coinage designs of a country or countries that split and/or changed boundaries and/or names n political allegiances...i.e. yugoslavia n others in the bosnia war etc....

It would be great to have the information on the label
It is a known variety and in the standard Gadoury reference for French coins, Monnasies Francaises, so it may be possible.
...talk to Dave Lange bout it before u send it in, he will advise u the proper avenue to follow n get it to the correct person....

most likely they will...urs may end up being the variety "discovery" coin...u may have to convince them its a major or significant variety or in this case a "mintage error" coin... i have had some success in getting variety status attributed to a few of my coins....

...kiddos into numismatics, no problem...having had 6 kiddos im a pro...they all started out liking shiny things, but as they entered their teen years their preference was for the kind u buy things with, this quickly escalated...(currency seemed to prevail over coins?)....now its mostly bars n ingots from the monarchy of Bullionia....easy peasy...

Depends on what you're submitting/ what tier.
...true i guess if u go by % of the total...but $25 seems incidental in the big picture of things especially if u dont like waiting to get ur coins back....

The last time I sent multiple submissions, NGC sent the coins back to me as they graded them. Interestingly, my world modern submission was the last submission to make it back to me.
...my 13 different submissions contained multiple coins in many cases n some individual coins due to the tier selected...in most cases i requested that they be shipped as graded, the additional shipping is really incidental to the overall total cost for certification....
This was a little late for April fools, and it's a little early for 4/20.

...interesting n confounding as well...have u questioned ngc registry as to the why for this high points awarded to that specific coin?...their reply should be enlightening either way....
