Hope you didn't pay a boatload of cash for that.
Buy the coin --- NOT the label.

Thanks Guys!!
Today is the 1 year anniversary for her passing. It is rough on my kids and family.
1 day at a time. it will get better.

Crack them out and send them in.

I stopped collecting coins a year ago when my wife passed away. Sold some dimes to Geof and Sandy Katz to help with the mortuary services. Thanks to them all went well financially. I check in once in a while to see how everyone is doing. It would be nice to read more journals than those that have been entered this year. Far and few in between.
Happy Collecting!!

93, and 94 proofs raw or graded?

Put that cruise money towards your wifes school loans. The last thing your family needs to look forward to is a Coronaviris Cruise.
The viris is here. Give it a few weeks and all hell is going to break loose.

The mint and the grading companies made a fortune last year on the "W" hunt scam. The dealers get the large bulk bags and load up on the quarters. I hope collectors realize just how many were actually graded. Check out the NGC and PCGS senses population!!
The Parks business set is shot!! I am selling what I have and investing the sales into my State Quarter Set. I also will not be building the 2019 nor 2020 mint sets.

Yep!! Got me Irish blood boiling as well. I did a post in November I think which described the VERY high count of "W" mint quarters graded. The dealers are still asking very high prices when there are well over hundreds of MS67's for each of the park quarters. They won't be worth a flip in 5 or 10 years.
Here is the journal I did last year when the blood started to boil;

Mr. Berline,
It has been a pleasure over the past 12 years or so reading your journals. Your enthusiasm and knowledge provided
over the years in the full step collection has enticed me into having my own little collection of sweet Jefferson nickels.
Thanks for being a part of this community and sharing so much of your knowledge!!

Well, I myself trust the USPS. All packages I have sent have been well wrapped and padded with insurance added. Well over 1000 packages sent and always a well tracked and complete shipment.

I am sure the points reduction is based on an overall grading evaluation. When they are new and grading population is low there are some extremely high points but as more hit the fan the points seem to blow away.
It is what it is.

When I read the heading on the post --- First coin!! --- I hoped and knew it was a Morgan!

Finding the "W" quarters will be a long hunt for areas that don't have amusement parks and vacation areas. The quarters are only in the bulk bags that go to the areas that are low on quarters and need change to keep the parks and stores rolling.

I did modern commemorative 50c coiins in the eggs this year for the grandchildren.
Am I competing?!? Not really!!

Chrisln,
You can do the round crop pics with PhotoScape. It is a free download and fun to mess with.
