If you had posted this coin as a "Guess the Grade," I would have guessed MS63+. Evidently, you and I grade to different standards.

I currently don't have no tokens but, I'm going to start expanding my collection and start trying to buy some. I've been looking at several the last few days and fell in love with alot of the designs. Especially the old civil war tokens. I believe that's where I'm gonna start my collection. You all have posted some really nice ones. I love it!!

This is one of two styles of 5 cent token that they used. I am currently watching one of the other style on Ebay, trying to decide if I want to pull the trigger, or wait and see if a nicer one comes along

I never submitted, after looking at replies and the coin I can definitely see what is off. It's more pronounced in person but the reverse rim definitely has a weird seam all the way around. It's back in the album a placeholder for the time being. 
Realizing no one here knows me from Adam it might not be much consolation but I can assure everyone this won't be passed off to anyone else. I'm not in the business of passing off problems or fleecing others, I can take this as what it is, a lesson and move on.

I'm confused. Are you really trying to sell a circulated quarter for $700? Am I missing something?

I don't know about all of the other stuff, but I am past ready for them to get rid of the president portraits.

I think the way that the Franklin Mint products have been marketed has much to do with the lack of respect in the numismatic and collectibles community. It (in most cases) has little to do with the quality of the workmanship, or the actual products themselves. I have stated in the past that I really like some of their designs, like in the History of the US set. (Not too fond of the President set designs, though.) I even have some Three Stooges plates, but that is because I am a Stooges fan, not because I think there is any chance they will go up in value.
The key is your phrase "catches fire." That is not likely to happen in the near future.
