I was fortunate to win this one on an auction yesterday. These are the seller's pictures. I've never owned a decent example of a cracked planchet so I thought I would mark that one off my list. I feel I got lucky in winning this one as the winning bid didn't break the bank. Looking forward to seeing it in hand. And it's silver!! 👍🏻 👍🏻 Alex in PA., Hoghead515, GBrad and 1 other

Yet another awesome coin by none other than Mr. Lem "the Nickel Man" E!!! Congrats brother! Edit: We need a "love" or "heart" reaction button on the forum here! Liking a coin, and loving a coin, are two totally different emotions. Just my humble opinion here. Popular Post GBrad
Well, I received my cracked planchet quarter today. I am very pleased with it. No doubt it was cracked prior to the strike, best I can tell, due to the distortion of the letters adjacent to the crack and the along with the slight misalignment of the design rim. It also has a small "bonus" die crack coming off of the planchet crack on the reverse. Pretty neat I thought. Thank you all for your previous comments and reactions. Just wanted to show it now that I have it in hand. Thanks! Hoghead515, Coinbuf, Buffalo Head and 4 others

I was supposed to be getting my new Walker today, but unfortunately they sent me the wrong coin. I got a 1945 D Lincoln 66RD instead. Not sure if they sent my coin to someone else but if the recipient of my coin isn’t honest and doesn’t send it back to the seller, they will be taking a good hit. Not quite sure what they can do in that situation. I would like to have the coin but I will get my money back at least if they can’t find it. I hope it pans out and I get the coin. I'm curious to know if this situation ever got worked out? That's a stunning Walker

Popular Post Hoghead515
My youngest son wants to help me put together a set of Franklins. Its going to be a fun father, son project. We been watching this one all week as the clock slowly counted down. My son really wanted it. He loves the toning on it. So I ended up bidding on it and we was fortunate enough to get the winning bid. Not got it in hand yet.
