  1. Welcome. Sorry I’m late but sometimes this site has it out for me and won’t let me sign in 😂. This is home for a number of us. We share more than coins and do our best to respect each other’s religious and political views by not discussing them here. As mentioned, with it being the newbie forum, we understand that we will see many different questions here and do our best to be patient and helpful. Lastly, we are a pretty humorous bunch, so enjoy. Jzyskowski and cat 😉🙀
  2. Maybe you should buy a lottery ticket? Congratulations. They say good things come in three’s Your having a great day Mr.JP and Mr.Brad 😎. With a possible DD ase in the wings. Look at our little guys all growing up before our eyes. I love this forum. Congradulations. JP
  3. JP. I have some “my kinda coins “ but I enjoy your posts. Now. How much 🙀. And those are lovely. Just got some more dimes for my album so I understand how good it feels. 👍🏼
  4. Ya it was old PT who uttered the “sucker “ comment Heres our boy WC 🙀
  5. Well now. Thanks for posting that picture. I always thought that proof coins looked like this. I call yours something else.
  6. Congratulations to everyone 🎉🎊🍾🪅🐠. How cool and the way you give time here , thanks. I understand how lucky we are to have you with us.
  7. Listen to Coinbuf. He’s sending you to the “specialists “, please return with results for us to learn from. Thanks James
  8. Very reasonable prices and we guarantee our work. 🙀
  9. I’m still laughing at 4 of 5 steps. It’s like saying “it’s a Le Mans , it almost a GTO “. Those are known as “pompous stickers”. I think you did just fine on the ase. Sometimes it’s just wise to be able to understand a little compromise and grab a 69. Should I tell the story of the 70 that spotted after slabbing and how much value was lost 😢 ? No. Ok but I sure learned to appreciate a good 69 😉
  10. Build yourself a little route. That machine and find the local coinstars ( who notoriously kick out silver to the return slot). Seems every time I’m rifling the coinstar at the store, someone spots me 😂. I give them my best grandpa smile and explain how ever since they closed the re-cycling center , times are tough 😉. Most just smile with an understanding look.
  11. JP. Your adventures are really enjoyable as I live so dang rural and don’t have much available, locally. I do savage eBay and get alot of fantastic deals, but going out in the wild and engaging hand to hand is cool beans. Look forward to seeing your next post. 😉🐈
  12. I absolutely second your thoughts. This to is my home ( although lately it’s been hard to log in, and like a dog chasing cars I do go over to the other forum for a good flogging) but here I know I’m welcome and for that I say Thank you 😉🐈
  13. Well now 2 surprises today. First, the site let me on and now Congratulations 🎊🎈🎉🍾. Dude what a great deal for you. It’s something that us little guys are cheering for. You take this and enjoy it!! Really like the suggestion of pictures for your family and forum friends. I have no problem with anacs they do a nice job with attributions as do our hosts. Awesome Mr Greg 😎
  14. Sweet. I’m learning about DD and such. So far I’ve absorbed this. MD usually leaves a step or pedestal looking thing. I’m being careful with my words because this is complex and I’m learning but no expert. I’m pretty good at spotting spots. Something I’m not always happy about (especially when it’s on my new mint purchase, but I digress 😂). Cool beans.
  15. Not sure on the DD. But what is this spot. Hopefully on the plastic. Take a look 😉
  16. That’s in good shape. There’s this whole world of tokens and so-called dollars. State / city dollar medals. I am just beginning to research these 👍🏼
  17. Heard ngc drop off will be Thursday and they will run the coins to their shop in another town.
  18. I lasted until yesterday 😉. $2.50 free shipping. Going right into my new album 👍🏼
  19. With the snake population I would think there’s a thinning of the lizards. Now roachs we’ll be racing until the end of time.
  20. I’d get my dremel out and clean er up and make jewelry. It’s in rough shape.
  21. Well now. Looks like a dryer job but appears to have suffered some other fate. Interesting 😉
  22. I’ve bought some slabs that looked like they were used for teething. I try to size up the seller. Think of possible ways it could look like it does. Balance it out with value of coin being cracked. Always remember Caveat Emptor. I agree a good workman can do wonders. Kinda “gone in 60 seconds “ ish . And a good counterfeiter is well usually not detected 😳
  23. There’s several folks on here with metal detectors who could perhaps help. Hang on they’ll be along.
  24. Hey buddy. Happy holidays So I checked eBay search and bingo. Here’s a quick screenshot. I typed in Ancient coins bulk. Good luck There’s lots of listings Some of this a little of that. I find it handy for a rough idea
  25. My Littleton is that one. Slide covers for the coins. The dansco s became unavailable and still having issues. I have the Roosie dime 46-2012 and got the 2013 onward for Christmas. Lighthouse? I think are expensive. Here’s one of the things I hear. Put all the coins in at once because sliding the plastic cover might damage the coins. Weather and improper storage do the damage. I’m sure it’s possible so I don’t use high grade coins. So far I’ve stuck some mighty fine coins in there and with care I can slide the cover with out apparent damage. They are available and well made
