  1. I’d do, 2021 large print(lol) how can I help?
  2. JP you got me thinking about BU war nickels, so I just bought 5 1941,1942,1943,1944,1945 and while I was at it a 1939 AU Mercury dime. you gotta quit making me do this! Lol 😆
  3. I have just completed two sets of Jeff nickels. 1938-2021 and 1938-1964. Some of the war nickels. are very nice.
  4. Amazon SAFLIP Double Pocket Safety Coin Flips (2½" x 2½", 50 Flips) Amazon's Choicefor "double pocket mylar flips" $19.99
  5. Picked up this guy because of the toning. Weight is 3g checked it four times. specs for 1974 d stated 3.11g dial is 19.0 vs 19.05 thickness is 1.4
  6. Chameleon, nice going. They are special being the 100th. Glad you got one! Or two ;-) by the time I saw the reminder an hour had past and, thus, my chance to spend money on overpriced coins. Those that buy them and sell them for $200 are the winners in this game. But I wonder how many of these people will not sell them and end up with multiples as the market floods. I must admit, I REALLY wanted a 2021 Morgan but missed out earlier, I did buy one of the guaranteed shipment of the CC privy mark for $200. The seller messaged me and thanked me for trusting him until fall and offered me a chance to withdraw at any time. Those same guaranteed Morgan’s are now going upwards of $350. With the very limited production, I don’t see much of a recline in value for quite some time. congratulations on having quick fingers!
  7. On the good side of things, I did receive my, (plain Jane as some of you called it) , 2021 ASE graded MS70. I’m still happy to own her,
  8. Ok guys, if I can get this for $30 would you? A little concerned about two thing. why is the grade covered up? ive never seen toning flake off. who the heck is National numismatic certification? quickly please I’m about to win. Thanks in advance.
  9. Wow what an impressive collection. I would think it is the time to sell your vast Morgan collection. Hopefully you will have a nice pension out of them. Good luck,
  10. Welcome to the forum. Your question was valid, but many requests for information are from people that have not yet gained knowledge in collecting. No problem. I have only been in it a few years, but have learned a great deal in that short time mostly thanks to the folks in this group. Keep on postin! here is what a pristine 1947 looks like. I have one. Only an ms65, but nice.
  11. You guys are right, us older guys don’t have the resources that younger working people have and thus, due to the COVID caused hyper activity in coin collecting, i too have experienced this. I have spent way more than I should of and frankly, a little embarrassed by my surge in 2021. Of course the Mint took advantage and got everybody to pay way more than the new coins are worth (silver wise). So, while I await the arrival of my 2021 Morgan(cc) and 2021 ASE ms70, a good example of this hyper inflation is the 1909 s vdb, now regularly selling north of 1k. I have just completed the entire Lincoln cent collection (minus the s vdb) with literally every cent from 1909-2021 including the 2019 “w” mint version, and I am seriously thinking of selling now while the inflated market still exists. I think I can do pretty well. and that may make me feel less guilty about my expensive hobby. I know a lot of you have extremely extensive collections. I will never get there on social security and pension.
  12. Thanks James the rest of us thank you. Now we can all avoid this mistake!
  13. Oh that must be one of those anti-fungal, anti-static, anti-body “limited quantity” graded slabs restraints !
  14. Thanks Jason I’ve never seen one and most likely why the picture is fuzzy.
  15. I agree, a die chip probably wouldn’t have been so symmetrical so dated PMD
  16. IMO it’s does appear to be a strike through the two objects on the obverse seem to closely match the overall shape in the reverse plus the eagles feather spine shows through meaning to me that it could not be done post minting.
  17. Thank you Jason. Will do! It still be gs me that I have a $700 camera and close up lenses and can’t seem to figure it out. I’ll keep trying though.
  18. JP I can handle the scope shots, example was my 1887 Morgan we discussed, but I have. One year old Nikon D5600 12 megapixel camera and four close up lenses, and can’t seem to get it where I can get the whole coin. Mostly I am using my iPhone SE 5mp phone. Example here. Any suggestions?
  19. Can anyone recommend the best albums for Lincoln cents looking for 1909-2023 and have looked at Dansco, intercept shield, Whitman’s classic etc. none of them go past 2016. I like the intercept line with the slipcases, all of them al somewhat similarly priced around $50 for a pair. I have all cents now but three, most likely getting two of those 3 for a complete 1909-2021 set. The set missing the Holy Grail coin 1909s vdb, would fetch at least $500, if I provide nice albums and pop for the big one they are selling for $2,500 or more. what y’all think leave it without the s vdb or go for the whole enchilada? Recommendations on both the albums and the pursuit greatly appreciated. there are two nice albums on Amazon that go up to 2023 but no slip box.
  20. VKurtB I figured that you had a scientific explanation as to why my photography stinks! Lol maybe if the moon shifted its parabolic orbit the space/time continuum would warp the universe causing perfect pictures every time! 😁🤪
