Thanks, sure looks like an L !

Boy am I surprised 😮. I’m glad I could suggest something that just may fill the void! Good luck. IMHO, I would keep your PGCS coins in the current state. Your still way ahead of the pack already. Glad you got excited about the link. Just proves the adage that “Even a blind squirrel finds a nut“ ( no pun intended !)

Some of you may know the 1864 had some with an L on the ribbon some did not. With the L is worth more.

I have a few IHC coins and you got me thinking of checking them . Two examples, an 1864 and a 1903. I noticed the OP picture of the odd denticle just above the first feather, as well as what everybody else pointed out. Thankfully I don’t see those on my examples.

Any place to sell raw coins?
Mr.Bill347 replied to Rick621's topic in Newbie Coin Collecting Questions
Really Rick621 EBay has thousands of every coin so the competitors are tough and you can’t always guarantee what a seller says. That said, I buy from sellers who have a good rep and have sold me good products before. I’ve gotten some great deals along the way, however I’m in the process of trying to sell BGS graded baseball cards and not having much luck. The prices I’m posting are excellent but buyers are looking fir dealers with lots of sales. The big consignment sites are way overpriced to cover overhead. Have you tried selling the here on NGC? -
Two NGC Sample Slabs Acquired at Chicago
Mr.Bill347 replied to VKurtB's topic in Newbie Coin Collecting Questions
Those are cool VkurtB, did you find them at the Chicago show? I’ve seen samples as I’m going through 10,000 mint baseball cards, but not seen a sample NGC. Is that from NGC, what exactly dies the sample label indicate? -

First thing you learn is do not buy anything from the “coin guy” or RCTV, or Etsy, or HSN, they are all rip offs, they buy TONS of coins, bulk grade them and sell them for huge profits! Especially anything on Facebook, No different than those that buy mint limited issues and turn right around a sell the guarantee for a future minting at triple the cost. I hate these guys. I would purchase from any ANA dealer ten times as fast as I would these guys. Example bought a nice 2009 ASE proof for $40 from an ANA dealer in Tennessee last month.

Ahh, the beloved "E Plvrbvs Vnvm" yes, lovely example ! Referring to Walker Fans Walker! -
Me too. Apparently they didn’t have such a bottleneck this time. Glad to get one just the same. Vkurtb I didn’t think you liked them . Glad we got through the turmoil. On don’t know whether they fixed their server issues or if the demands were just lower this time. Laughed because literally minutes after they went on sale, EBay lit up with sellers trying to get $300

No, they like us will just fade away into the sunset and into some lucky persons hands!

Not that I’ve ever been into commemoratives that much but I really liked this Jefferson commemorative in silver. Got a good price with mint box and coa. Got it for $24.99. I love the coin, haven’t seen too many of them and especially the Monticello reverse. while I was thinking Jefferson, I also picked up this PF69 Jefferson gold buck fir $7 thats my mail for today.
