QA is a good man.

Congratulations on a good first year! A fun hobby we can do in rain, sleet or shine. From Mine To Mint (RWB) is a must. Myself, during the last almost two years, finally realizing what I can and can not afford, helped me see a clearer picture of where I'm going with my collecting. BUT, I'll never give up the hope that I may find an 1880 Coiled Hair PF 67 Cameo $4 Stella in my pocket change someday. 😀

That dreaded word, 'rare'. Good luck with your find, send it in.

This 'follow the lead' picture post has been the most pleasurable thing for me in the last two years. When I'm bored or the day isn't going well, I just start with the first page and go all the way thru to the end. I'm always smiling when I'm done. Thanks to all that contribute, and Keep Going!!

It looks EF, maybe AU50. I'd leave it in the 53 holder. It looks like it has possibly been cleaned. I'd leave it as is. The 2 marks under the top right acorn looks like tool marks, but it's been graded, so they're not. Nice coin tho.

If it tests as gold, like they've said, tiller, metal detector, gloves, knee pads, back brace, etc... I'm glad you remembered that being up on the shelf. It's kind of exciting for all of us because it's what we've all dreamed/fantasized of, finding buried gold coins in the garden. Good luck. (Your place isn't for sale, is it?) 😁

They're just mods, QA, not Dan Mitrione. Lol. ____ Stolen art etc... all over the world, just the way it is. Some would auction your soul for a 20 per cent cut. There's something about the words 'stolen' and 'Saints' that that doesn't look right, SG's look better.

Is this a doubled die? Oops, wrong thread.

The cats water bowl froze solid on the kitchen floor. The family booked 4 nights at the casino, I stayed at home in the dark and no water. Got to know myself real good, again. Slept in coveralls and quilts, was ok. Water was dripping, froze up anyway, but one shower and toilet always worked, tg.. I've got 10 cases of water in the garage now, am cutting wood all next week, and picking up a huge generator. Somehow I had an awareness lapse and got caught unprepared, won't happen again. Took a selfie, me bundled up, cat in my lap, jug of whiskey on my right and an AR on my left, privacy, life is good....

Welcome back Karen, I was wondering. Glad you made it through. I was going to make a wild stab at MS62, RB, but Coinbuf got my mind right.

Nice Truly C, and welcome back!

Excuse me, I gotta go take a blood pressure pill.

After the tons of Chinese fakes finally settles down, possibly being more millions of them than genuine coins, should we start a grading service to grade only the counterfeits? The backup delay in getting returns shouldn't be over 10 weeks.----L30-laughable, E40-extra cheesy, A45-awful, AU Details-Genuine, etc..=== Should a bulk submission grader report that they are having an affair with a dealer?

Sounded desperate. I would imagine the mint jumped right on it, Fed Exed it (pony express), fresh horse and rider, hopefully they didn't stop and vote a few times on the way, etc... I'm sure the rider was tipped with a 1864 $3 gold piece.

I was going to sell some things around here and bid on it, but if your going to make fun of the dime then to heck with it, I'll just get my water and electricity turned back on and move on.

You've said way too much without showing the pics. ---- Don't disrespect those cowboys, they've been known to encapsulate.

About 10 days for me, back in January. Got to have patience, they have all kinds of things going on, virus safety stuff, etc... It's to their benefit to be quick, so they're trying.

Just turn it over. Then they will be in the correct order.
That's what I wanted to say, but it was so simple I thought that maybe it was a trick question.

We were submitting at the same time QA. Yes, a loupe and Magnet and small scales, bottle of water, good to go coin hunting.

When this world gets cranked back up again, (no, not meth),
fill your vehicle up and go to a coin show. You can 'in hand' inspect a potential buy, takes out the shoot of buying on line. I'm talking about ungraded pieces, of course. I've only been to two so far, had a blast at both.
