Mostly overpriced for the gold I was looking for. Many were ungraded, probably cleaned, cracked, put in flips, and the handwritten grades were way off. (AU55, maybe a forgiving AU50). A lot of everything tho, fun to browse, just have to be wary like Ebay and everywhere else.

It's a beautiful piece. My wife walked into the room just as I was looking at it. Now she has to have one like it. Good luck on the research!

Frozen tundra, (frosted).

I thank you jgrinz, AND here it goes, with a name, Upright, like its owner.

I agree with everyone. I had some comments, but one look at that 1909 left me speechless.

I've noticed some members are from around where I live and talked of shortages and rounding up. I live 20 miles north of Dallas, and not ONCE have I ever been asked to round up for payment. All 3 of my banks and 2 credit unions still sell me boxes of pennies, but all only have 2020's, and I don't want them. The boxes fit right under the drive thru drawer. Also, I never use a credit card, always cash with few exceptions, like when I'm in a hurry to fuel up my vehicle. I know it's going to happen, it just hasn't yet for me or my unbetter half. EDIT: How am I supposed to find that '58 doubled die in a roll of 2020's.
Besides, I'm the only one I know that can receive a fake 1931 S penny from the Sonic drive thru.

Well, here we go again. First of all, I'd change my phone # and then move, relocate. Or, if the buyer is happy, make some more. Do what you want with the proof sets, they're a dime a dozen. The 64 Lincoln, well, keep it. Good luck with whatever you decide.

Thanks for the info Coinbuf, that's all I needed.

Have poor eyesight, and I'm unable to see the doubling even on the examples that are shown, even with arrows pointed at them, vam this and vam that, I give up. I don't intend to get it graded, somewhere between AU50 and MS62, just a very common Morgan. Before I give this coin to a grandson, does anyone, if they have the time, see anything unusual or special about it. Thanks.

A son from California just called, said the 'defund' joke wasn't funny, Apologies everyone. Guess when I visit the 'old folks' home this afternoon maybe someone will appreciate the humor. --- old joke, granddaughter just told-- What do fast swimming fish in the lake say when they bump their heads against a concrete wall? "Daaamm"! Oh well, next.

Looks like the explanations have made a full circle at least twice, and there is no 'teaching'. Enough. We don't want to lose you members that are SO valued here, that teach us and make us learn, enduring the same questions over and over but you all keep on plugging away, unsung heroes. The thread needs to cease. I've noticed JKK and others disappeared quite some time ago, making me kind of nervous. From newbies to State Reps have chimed in, making it interesting from time to time, but dang. I don't know enough to contribute, but I know enough to 'thread out'. Edit: I feel sorry for the unfortunate soul that walks into the coin convention hall and yells "Hello Coin Lovers"!

RR2020- I made 3 offers. The first one was $20.20, in jest. The second was for $30, sincerely. No response, so the third offer I was just being facetious, no disrespect intended. I offered a coin worth a $1000 and a sports card that I don't own worth over a half million. All offers are off. My opinion is what RWB responded, without elaborating, to your original question, a simple 'no'. Coin talk aside, I sincerely wish you a speedy recovery, and good luck with your endeavor in the future.
-
You've had three offers, you turned them down. What amount of U S dollars do YOU think your coin is worth?

I did my part, tried to buy it three times, after all, it is the only one known to exist. Chinese are making fakes as we speak.

Yes, I'm here. I'll be lurking somewhere, ready to ask or comment, mostly just reading posts and learning numismatic stuff. No one really gives a spoon what a beginner has to say, it doesn't take long to figure that out. I'm good with that. Do your thing, I'm watching.
