Do it, Maybe Post the best looking one from the bunch and maybe say what grade you think it is. I am quite curious and would be a good learning opportunity to hone our grading skills.

It was packed with what was probably the most gorgeous brand new cents I've ever seen! I'm going back today an paying cash and going to be a cent or two short and see what they are.
You wouldn't dare? Lol! Heck, I check the bowl each time I'm in Hobart and take all the coppers.

@Tridmn-i thought you were keeping it because you like it?

Well @Hinkle, I am honored. You havve been here for a while, yes? A day we don't learn something is a day wasted for sure.
Well alright, @Dukemnm. I am thrilled that you have figured out what interests you. Be sure to show us your new stuff as you get them. Great photo btw.
Yes, @kbbpll, I used to have a link to a great article that went in depth from the days of using a hammer to today and I somehow deleted it from my bookmarks and have thus far been unable to locate it again. (Come to think of it, I bet I could find it in my area of my FB group. Amazing how you gotta sometimes 'say it out loud' for it too happen). Ima go look now.

I read it! I read it! I read everything they said to read before making my first posting. So theeere. But this was the first forum I joined, I think. Not sure. It's been a minute or two ago.

Alater.Ah! It took my M word out. Guess I should have said none of you are spoonorons. Let's see how smart their algorithms are....

Hello Chatters, miss me much? Hahahahaha! Yeah, yeah. Don't even bother answering. I already know you have. So I am here today because I finally ran across the article that first gave me some insight into how a Doubled Die and other Mint Errors are made. If you read this article and look at the pictures by the end of it you will have a whole new look into what causes what you are looking for, if you are an error searcher. I feel like the first thing for any Newbie in Coin Collecting is to get an understanding of not the error itself but rather how the Minting process works, so then you have a better understanding of how an error can happen in the first place. See? This article is long, yes, but how many hours have you already spent looking at coins only to post them and have all your hooes and dreams stomped on when you are told PMD or MD? So why not read the darn thing and the 3 others it links to so there will be fewer crushed dreams? Between the 4 articles there is everything you need to know about the basics of coinage and how errors are born. You may have to read between a few lines but I'm guessing none of you are or else you wouldn't be here at all. Cause this here hobby is for smarty pants only. So just do it. Read the articles, now....You'll thank me later.

Well, honestly I have seriously considered doing a book on that exact topic-What Isn't A Doubled Die. And then follow it up with-Coin Errors That Aren't Doubled Dies But Will Blow Your Mind.

Well, I am right next door and I see , , all the time. No Quarters here yet either, but I have pulled a Penny, a Nickel, and a Dime.

Pretty nice looking 62 though. Hard to find a circulated coin in such condition. Especially from that decade.

It does kinda look like teeth marks. Lol!

Karen,
The Roosevelt dimes are a fun to collect set that extend into full torch with many different varieties up to 1982 or so.
Here is my set listing for the 1946 to date with varieties.

I need to take some time this winter and get some pics added with also making a submission or 2 as well.
Enjoy Collecting
Thanks Rick. Great info.

Roosevelt dimes is one area I have done a bit of studying on. ( I haven't added to my Roosevelt collection in years, though.)
The pointed and blunt tailed nines can both be found on Philadelphia and Denver business strikes, and both can also be found on proof coins.
Thanks Sir. I think the Dime is a lovely coin.

Very hard to find any info on it. My big question is if there should be a MM on the Dime.
-
It was titled, Pointed Nine Variety Dime in 1964 Proof set.

Hey Gurrrl! How ya doing? I thought you had written us off. Lol! Just don't run out and get those Cherrypicker Guides. Biggest waste of money yet for me. Look at someone else's first to see if they are what you're looking for. Good to see you!

How do I see a posting from 2007? I searched the title of the post and got zero results. I want to react and comment on it but it keeps telling me to log in and when I do it takes mr yo my profile page and then I can't find the post. Conder, you commented on the post. You have been here for a while, huh? Ole Wise One.

Idek if that is a 1. Looks like a 7 to me. Just my 2 cents worth.
USB is the cord you plug into the short and wide slots in the front of your hard drive. Like an HTML only not.

You're a trip Kurt.
What. About those pictures?

So I received this baby at Mail Call today. Haven't had a chance to check it out yet but will as soon as I am done with Supper. It's Veggie Beef Soup with Brisket as the Beef. BEEF! It's what's for dinner! It's not a real powerful cleaner but is 42KhZ with a Degas function and up to 30 minute timer. Only 1 transducer. After getting screwed and almost having my identity stolen on the first 2 I ordered, I may not have gotten the one I wanted but I'm happy to finally have one at all.

Well, I know why I no longer have the great article bookmarked. It is gone. Just gone. I went back through my posts to my FB group and clicked the link amd it has been removed. It was a video, I guess, put out by Coin Op called 'How Coin Dies Are Made-A Little History On Errors And Varieties'. I plan to write them and ask what happened to it. Sorry.
