  1. We thank him for his service and so very thankful to all those veterans of bygone eras.
  2. By all means; have it graded ASAP and please post the results here. It's a fake and here is what a real one looks like:
  3. I do hope everyone knows that the comment is just foolishness. I subscribe to two Nationally known Coin Dealers and would not trade them for the world. Over the years they have been truly outstanding in helping me get what I wanted.
  4. I do hope you enjoy your brass trinkets.
  5. And very nice indeed. I own some Scot money; also for pleasure. I don't collect it but the notes I found very attractive. Thanks.
  6. I Like gold - any gold - in any form - and in my pocket. Here's one of my favorites: PS: It doesn't have a Privy Mary!
  7. Must be a very old one to have Victoria looking that young. Very nice Roger; coins of the British Empire are always fascinating.
  8. So Q.A., that's what this Rooster you always talk about looks like? IMHO a very nice coin. I like the design and I have a soft spot for the French and gold. Very nice, thanks for posting it.
  9. Way to spoil a man's dreams. Maybe part of the Merker's Mine Hoard. Seems the Germans want some of their gold back they say is 'missing'.
  10. Yessir. I have gold and silver bullion but I find myself always looking at the Civil War Era gold and the Carson City gold coins. There's something about a Half Eagle that may have been in an 1880 poker game.
  11. Beautiful; absolutely beautiful. I'll bet you can't take your eyes off that one. Congratulations.
  12. Please list me as Number 2. Don't have a Mint Account, haven't bought a US Mint product since I bought that piece of bullion formerly known as the 'Old San Francisco Dollar'. Who needs the US Mint when we have EBay the wonderful????
  13. There is some Alabama Obsolete Currency sold on EBay but it's very expensive IMO.
  14. Me too. No wonder the Mint wouldn't give me a Privy coin - NO ACCOUNT!
  15. I'll bet you are correct. I thought that it was 10 total; 5 of each. Wonder how many folks got 10 of each?
