  1. Good luck on that Proof. Nice looking coin. I have, once in a while, sent in a coin to be slabed because I wanted to protect it or because it was 'special' to me. It's what's important to you that counts.
  2. Got one. From the days I was stashing away bullion. I have a 2016 roll of ASE - From the US Mint unopened, unsearched, untouched, and I bet a dealer would give me LESS than spot and probably melt. It is only PROOF or UNCIRCULATED when sold by a Coin Peddler. It is BULLION when you and I sell it.
  3. I really don't care. Just another 'trinket' put out by the US Mint. Bullion is Bullion.

  5. Religion, and all other forms of humanity, cannot enter into this. We MUST do what the Government tells us. The Government wouldn't lie to us; would they?
  6. But, but Doctor Fauci said. Besides, Covid 19, the 'Pandemic that wasn't, is over. The MSM has declared it's gone. Everyone in Washington, DC is singing and dancing.
  7. You're spending the whole thread on the 'Unintentional'. Try this for unintentional: More people died in the city of Chicago from 'lead poisoning' in 2020 than died from Covid.
  8. As for th The Leading Causes of Death in the US for 2020 Farida B. Ahmad, MPH1; Robert N. Anderson, PhD2 Author Affiliations Article Information JAMA. 2021;325(18):1829-1830. doi:10.1001/jama.2021.5469 That stat by Covid - I'll believe that when Gerty brings her cows home. 9. I got vaccinated and I have the scar to prove it. So there; take that you Harvard Scholars. numisport's coin gets my vote.
  10. The Doctor Fauci should have just kept his mouth shut instead of jumping in front of a camera and/or microphone every time he saw one.
  11. I told you not to leave the most wonderful place in these United States.. Them people down there are J.P.C.
  12. I have heard the stories also but here and ATS I have never seen one posted. As you would know each generation of slab became harder and harder to crack. I cracked out 3 ICG and 3 NGC slabs and no matter how careful I was it destroyed the slabs. Just a thought.
  13. 21 hours and no reply to your question. I wonder why. I will go way out on the limb and say up to you. It is a beautiful coin; no doubt, but to spend $ to encapsulate is up to you.
  14. 100% agree. Sometimes it's better to go to the TPG first then, if you cannot resolve the issue, attempt other means and ways.
  15. 100% agree! Yet you and I know hat will not happen any time soon. The best thing is for the Collector, new and long term, educate themselves and pay attention to Just Bob, Conder101, Greenstang, and what other long term members tell us. Buy from a nationally known and recommended dealer where you will get your money back on a bad sale. Do not buy 'raw' coins until you become good enough to spot the fakes. Remember, the Counterfeiter, Chinese and other, is getting much better at his profession.
  16. This is a pretty good guide for beginners. Not the greatest; but very good. How to Grade Morgan Dollars - Guide With Photo Examples (thesprucecrafts.com)
  17. How many does this make this week? I counted four today alone. Sleepy Hollow is getting awfully popular. Maybe it was the Covid?
  18. I used NCS Conservation Services (found on Block 5 of the NGC Submission Form) on three separate occasions all of which were Carson City gold pieces ($20, $20, $5). Not only was I completely happy with the work done one $20 CC went up 1 grade. What I like is NCS is a system that will tell you 1. If you need conservation or 2. If conservation will help or not. As with the CC $5.00 it did not require conservation and all that it cost me was postage. That is my experience and I used NCS before and I will again. If the OP had bothered to contact NGC Customer Service here in the USA or in the UK I'm sure they would have informed him/her of this service.
