Procrastination Costs...

...a big chunk of change when you let the submissions pile up. Today was the big day, I sure cleared a space on my collecting central table. What a way to spend the morning!

Pictures Well I got my girl a new camera last week a Samsung 10.1 digital. So I thought what the heck lets try this bad boy out. I'm no photo expert but after a few tries I think they came out allright. Used the AMP setting and macro placed on a green tone and took them outside. But that wasn't the hard part. I soon realized I had to go in order on those presidential dollars since theirs two sets and make sure their numbers matched up plus resize everyone of those darn pics. a lot of work f

I was happy with #3 in my beloved 1971 proof set, but now I fell down to 5 Ya see! That's what I get for devoting too much time (and $)on the comics! I was too close to getting a PF69Deep Cam Half, and then I could of held #2 for awhile. Latest Acquisition

Bought this coin over the internet a few weeks ago. This coin is a very nice original 1806 Draped Bust 25c, AU-53. It is toned just right for me and still has some luster. I saw the photos of it, had it sent, and it looks as nice or better in hand. It is high among favorite coins of my collection.

Got my latest submission results

Some good, some disappointing. Nothing out of the ordinary, though. I was a little disappointed with my Commemoratives. They all came back PF 69 UC. That's OK. I have plenty more, and they're actually quite a thrill to have graded, because some of them carry a heck of a lot of Registry Points and fetch pretty good prices at auction when you get a PF 70 UC. Plus, I finally broke my drought on Statehood Quarters. Out of the 10 that I submitted, I got 5 PF 70 UCs, with the other 5 being PF 69 U

Give Peace a chance!!!!

Could the end be in sight. Another one bites the dust. One more down and then there were five.After going almost three weeks without adding a new Peace Dollar to my collection, I scored a 1934P in MS62 A nice golden toned coin, in a rather lack luster auction. There were only six bids and my last bid held up for the last 45 minutes of the action. This is the second auction in a row that has been like this. I Found This One Roaming The Range While going on a hunt I was able to track down another Buffalo. They are scarce these days in fact some would say the Bison is extinct. But of course the type I am looking for are not in your pocket change or roaming the great American plains as they once did. How it all began...... Well I have been collecting coins since I was about 10. I started like everyone else, looking through jars of pennies and the change in your Dad's pocket. increasing coin buying instead of holders.. I won't make a blanket statement and say Everyone or Always,but lately I have noticed a different kind of bidding showing up at auctions. Several weeks ago I noticed that Heritage had six MS66 1946-S Walkers coming up for auction at one time. My coins are Back from NGC Today!!

Took about a week...GREAT JOB!! I am so excited to have gotten my coins back in such a timely manner from NGC. As collectors, we are all lucky to be associated with such a great company. I was thrilled that my proof 2007 Eagle came back a PF 70 Ultra Cameo, and my 1986 Proof came back a PF 69 Ultra Cameo. Both are beautiful coins. I think I have a problem... Well, I started collecting slabbed coins about 5 months ago and today I realized something, I have 43 (44 will be here in about a week) certified coins.
