NEVER-EVER-BUY A RAW COIN FROM A DEALER WHO ALSO SELLS NGC AND PCGS.

Think about it. Why sell a raw coin if NGC or PCGS will grade it. When I see a dealer inventory of nice NGC and PCGS coins mixed with raw coins I figure the raw coins were body bagged. If not, they would be there with bright shinny NGC or PCGS slabs. Yes it is possible to pick up a bargain, but I would rather be safe. I buy and sell coins on ebay. I avoid disappointment by only buying and selling NGC and PCGS graded coins. Here is a nice one I recently bought at Morphy ebay live auction.

thanks to an honest ebay seller who only wants to see there customers happy they have agreed to refund my money plus grading fees! can you believe that...in this day and age there are still people out there who are honest enough to admit when they have made an honest mistake(said it wasnt cleaned when NGC said improperly cleaned)...this coin was not visably cleaned in any way and i 100% believe the seller when he said he did not know it was cleaned. Raw coin submission...Ebay seller worse then auction house!

well what a waste of time and money...and yes i will be saying the ebay sellers name in hope he reads this and gives my money back...so i at least can tell all the CS members that u are an honest seller in my last journal i let everyone know i bypassed the auction house after the bad grades last time...well i went with ebay seller saratogacoins...they sell high grade indian heads and thats about it I checked my order status this morning and what comes back....improperly cleaned...GREAT i tho

Comments, Quips, and a clean up

Quip; A WITTY OR SARCASTIC REMARK I cleaned up my collections, somewhat today I deleted three of them. It was a grand total of four coins that's right four whole coins worth a whopping 13 points. I got tired of looking at them, I kept the coins one of which was a 1950D Jeff in MS 66.(Clean-up) I was going to work on them until I got bit by the Peace Dollar bug. My July 7th submission hit quality control today five working days after receipt. With a 12 day turn around I guess it will now spend

Expensive coins!! I have been trying to finish up my proof SAE collection and I have kinda ran into a "financial" wall. The 1993 tru 1997 are quite expensive in the PF69 and PF70 range. I love toned copper!!

Is this hobby addictive or what? I always love the hunt of a new coin to add to my collection and registry. I lose more auctions than I win but when I find a beautiful coin and at a reasonable price it is like Xmas. I am always looking to add to or upgrade my registry sets. 1879 CC MS 62 GSA

The coin is in the mail!!! I have bought a 1879 CC for my GSA set. It is comimg in the mail and should be here this week. I went ahead and got the coin because I got it for a very good price. It is in a siver dollar holder instead of a uncirculated holder because it as a small section of cresent toning between the 11:00 and 12:00 area. I wish I could Afford more Gold and Platinum coins....

I am a real lover of the $5 gold pieces When I first received my MS 70 ER $5 gold piece in the mail last year after winning it in auction for about $99, I was a bit shocked on exactly how small it was, and I documented that fact here at the time. But, with only about 190,000 of those particular coins minted last year, that coin has actually become the biggest coin in my collection. Presidential Point System

dont understand exactly! I have noticed on the score of some of the presidential sets that the person in 8th place has the same amount of points as the person in 1st, and the same as the one in 7th so how can this be, are they also judge on something else, looks like if they all have the same amout of points they would all be tied for first... anyone else know.. Kinda new here , and would like to know, thanks in advance.

US Mint announced today, 2008 Proof & Uncirculated 24k Gold Buffalos go on sale July 22 at 12:00 noon! Us Mint announced today that they will be selling 2008 PF & UNC. 24k Gold Buffalos on July 22. This afternoon I was building collections it was raining and I was alone in the house. My favorite Pastime is building coin collections weather my own or ones that I am going to sell, I don't make a profit at it but I make enough so I can buy more coins to build more collections to sell and upgrade my collections and purchase other coins for my collections and supplies, you get the picture. 1950-S NGC MS68 FT Roosevelt Dime

Shaking in my shoes as I realized I now owned my first super grade coin! I could not believe this coin showed up on Ebay, and without a reserve. I also could not believe the lack of bidders and how low the price bids were. After the auction, I was numb, stunned and shaking like a leaf.
