Here's another 1902-P which is destined to be

cracked out for the Dansco Album.

It was in an ANACS 60 holder;

I picked it up for short money.

I left off with 1902 - so here is a group that I may not have shown:

The first coin is my 1902-O Half - obverse image only - PCGS 58.

The last coin - a 1902-P Quarter in PCGS 63 is one of my favorites.

The last coin - a 1902-P Quarter in PCGS 63 is one of my favorites.

Gee, I wonder why? Nice Barbers, Mike!

Thanks, Bob and Chris.

Chris, next time there's another show in Ft Myers,

I'll bring some other Barbers along for "show and tell".

I think you're the only person - other than my Dad -

whose seen the Barber Dime collection.

Maybe - just maybe - I'll bring the entire series to

display at the next coin show - I need to locate

the display case I've seen used before that displayed

those beautiful Buffalo nickels and Morgan dollars.

Any thoughts, Chris - who do I contact to borrow

this display case ?

Okay - I've got a few more images for 1903...I left off with

the 1903-O half in 58...

Sorry, but I don't have an image of my 1903-S Half in PCGS 58;

one of these days, I'll send in all the Barbers for TrueView imaging

and will attach all the images to the Registry sets themselves.

Oh well - here's a nice 1903-P Dime in a PCGS 58 holder:

This is in my Good Dansco Half collection. Seventeen more to go to complete the set.

It always blows me away to see what the camera picks up. The slide marks on the face are invisible to the naked eye.

Which coin do you like better ?

The first coin in an ANACS holder -

was cracked out by the original seller

from a PCGS AU 58 holder for his 7070

Type Album; he then decided to reholder

the coin w/ ANACS - and it crossed as

an AU 58. I submitted it to PCGS a few

months ago. It came back as an AU 55.

Please excuse the dark images, they are

from the original seller.

The second coin was purchased raw by

myself back in 1996 or so - and I sent it

into ANACS - where it received an AU 53

grade. Last year, I crossed it to PCGS and

it received another AU 53 grade. This past

January, I resubmitted it and it upgraded

as an AU 58.

I like the reverse of coin #1 and the obverse of coin #2. If I had to choose one, I would pick coin #2 because I am a toning freak, and #2 appears to have a more attractive patina.

Coin # 2 is my favorite and in my set. I have recently sold off coin # 1.

Wish I had images of the other 1903's in my set.

Onto 1904...only a few images on file.

Here's my 1904-O Half - PCGS AU 58:

ctrl,

Welcome to the forums !

Nice 14-S quarter - good luck on the grade;

the 97-O dime should do well at NCS, they're great.

The 1914-S quarter appears to have been polished. NCS should be able to remove the PVC from the 1897-O dime, but it also looks like it might be hairlined a bit much.
