While at FUN, I was able to pick up two more Barbers,

an 1899-O Quarter in PCGS 64 - a truly stunning coin, and

a 1903-S Dime in PCGS 63 - a very pretty coin and solid for

the grade. Looks MS - 64-65, IMHO.

No images yet - I plan on having the Dime reholdered as the

plastic is scratched - and while its at PCGS, I'll have it True-Viewed

by Phil - PCGS's photographer.

I plan on having the 99-O Quarter imaged but not for awhile; I'll be

sending in the entire set for review this year and will have images taken

at that time.

Thanks - they are among the best coins in

my collection. I couldn't pass up the 1898-S

from Dale's collection - its a nice compliment

to the 1898-O ... attached below...

Its been a goal of mine to upgrade all AU 53 & AU 55

to either AU 58 or MS 63 to 65.

Here's my newest upgrade. 1892-O Micro O.

EX: Shireman Collection.

PCGS MS 63.

I've got only a couple of dates to upgrade

then I think I'll send everything into PCGS

for regrade and TrueView imaging.

Thanks for the guesses - - - any others ?

Upgraded a quarter - anyone care to guess the grade ?

This 1905-S Quarter was in an NGC 62 holder originally -

and the previous owner cracked it out to place it

in an album. He submitted it to PCGS and it also

graded a MS 62.

Here's another addition to the Dime collection:

I received the Baltimore Stack's auction catalog and there's

a nice 1892-O Micro O listed.

Edited to add: This NGC 62 - sold for $19,000 plus 15% Buyers Fees.

A bargain, IMHO.
