ZRLEVIN & SAM51 - Thanks for posting - regardless of the grades - I think all Barbers have merit - I like the look of VG 8's thru AU 58's equally.

As I continue to post - there will be a smattering of all grades.

I think I'm out of 1898 images. Alot of my coins are without images - sorry to say.

So..here's an 1899...

Very nice Barbers everyone, WOW, very nice.

Here is my latest picked up at a local auction, low grade but one that I have been wanting to fill a set.

My apologies, I posted the incorrect images for this coin and for some reason the system will not allow me to correct.

Rey,

As you and most Barber collectors realize, the 1904-S is a tough coin.

Thanks for sharing it.

The seller of my newest addition - the 1899-S in PCGS 58 - was kind

enough to reimage the coin before he sent it to me.

I've already posted the eBay images for this coin that were provided by

the original seller. But for comparison's sake, here they are again.

Hi, Everyone :hi:

I have enjoyed the Barber coins shown in this post.

Here is an ex. Jules Reiver Collection 1904 NGC graded AU 58 quarter from my collection.

Thanks for sharing your 1904 Quarter, Al.

Here's the auction listing for your coin:

Lot: 21231

1904 AU58 NGC. Mottled rose and dark-green patina decorates the obverse.

The reverse displays dove-gray toning with hints of speckled russet color. A

well struck near-Mint example, with substantial luster and faint traces of high-pont wear. Both sides of the coin are free of distracting contact marks.

Did you buy it directly from that sale ?

Very attractive coin, IMHO.

Hi, Elbesaar :hi:

Thank you for the information on this coin and your kind words. I bought this coin about a year ago on eBay. I was going to use this coin for my DANSCO 7070 Type Set until I received it. I choose an 1898 Barber Quarter Dollar for that and I am keeping this coin as a pedigree coin. :D

...Glad to hear you're keeping that coin in its holder. It was part of an amazing

collection. I own a few of Reiver's halves - and one will never be cracked out,

the 1898-O Half in NGC 30. Its got an extremely small mint mark in comparison

to the other 1898-O's I have inspected, although it hasn't been classified as a

Micro-O.

...so, continuing with 1902 ...here's another...
