  1. Yes, that was my exact concern as well... But their only business struck coins, pulled from circulation. I can always replace them. Who knows, they might even tone nicely... If you like toned coins.
  2. I'll take some pictures of what I was using and get back to you.
  3. Your right but you're using it the wrong way!!
  4. Thanks! I'm searching for something else and these things keep popping out. I'd never buy one but I've submitted a few.
  5. Thanks! I agree about Dansco. I don't know what's going on with them. I haven't looked in a while but they're production was messed up for a long time. Guys were having problems finding and getting the albums or pages they wanted. This was apparently their headquarters at one time. I don't know, it still may be. It's somewhere in the hood in California. If this is still their headquarters, I see the reason for the problems. Hell what am I saying, they probably moved to China!!!
  6. It's not a big one but it'll get me through.
  7. Yes, Melville. I don't think it's that decent but it's a coin show.
  8. With help from my wife, I created this custom page for the back of my Dansco type set. The page was a blank small dollar page. My wife made the labels for me. I felt the needed to create a page for the more modern type coins. The 4 Lincoln Bicentennial's, The 4 Westward Journey Series, The Lincoln Shield Cent, The State Quarter, The Territories Quarter, America the Beautiful Quarter, The Front Facing Nickel, The Sacagawea Dollar, The U.S. Presidential Dollar Motto on Edge and The U.S. Presidential Dollar Motto on Obverse. Each (in my opinion) deserves it's own slot. The pictures could be better but you get the point.
  9. Not that close but it's been really cold here.
  10. Stay safe and warm. Been bringing firewood in today.
  11. eBay recently "sold items" (assuming you know what you're looking at) is probably the best current indicator of fair market value.
  12. Very nice! That W jumps out at you doesn't it? Your heart skips a beat! You gotta look at it 3 or 4 times, shake your head and look at it again!
  13. Thanks! I look forward to seeing the results of my non-professional grading skills.
  14. I need to add a disclaimer to somewhere in my posts. Disclaimer: I'm not a dealer, trader, grader, investor or professional numismatist. I'm just a hobbyist. (To protect me but mostly you! 🤣 )
  15. I don't know guys. I'm in the PMD vise job column on this 1970 Roosevelt.
  16. Perfect thread for a question if you don't mind. I'm new to the NGC submission process. I mailed my first submission on the 21st. My tracking number status says it's in Sarasota: Package available for pickup. Question: Does someone from NGC go to the hub or post office and pick these packages up?
  17. @Fenntucky Mike- Love those soap bar slabs!
  18. That picture looks like Berlin. Yes, I have some interesting stuff. I even bought a Russian Mosin Nagant while I was over there. I was standing there with my buddies. We were all looking at this beautiful weapon. We all knew it was against regulation to buy any weapons over there. It would have been caught during an inspection of our household shipment going home.....a big no no!! The weapon was cheap, I paid 10 Marks for it. I had to have! I got it back to the barracks, broke it down and mailed it back to my parents in the States. I mailed one box per month for about 6 months..... The bolt, trigger, barrel, stock, magazine, etc..... Sorry, @Chester Wall don't mean to hijack your thread here.
