  1. From watching closely I believe the delays/pausing and other issues are being created by the advertisers load/unload, renew ad, search your browsing history, target your desires and display new ads. I would think that with a paid premium membership to NGC the ads when online, should be totally eliminated allowing members to have “clean sheet” to communicate on the upper tier scale they project.  Not just another average website.  Just a thought.

With blurry pictures like that I thought it was “tripling” and not doubling  thought I needed my eyes checked 👀   …

Over all it looks like normal wheat cent if you see any slight doubling? It’s most likely die deterioration from worn out dies during a production striking.

Not sure about the tripling part but I do know that back in the day there were two things I learned never to do

    1. Drive

    2. search for DD coins

if I was hanging out with my old buddy, GLENlivet.

I agree with the not DD verdict.

The best course of action is to post these photos on the CONECA forum and ask if they think it is worthy of an in-hand review as a new discovery.   I suspect that this is just very deceptive die deterioration, but that is how I would proceed.

With what Coinbuff has said here, you already have pictures, just go in to Coneca.org, select forums from the home page, in forums go to die variety forum and post. It s really no more than you have done here but if they agree with your points of interest and the photos are sufficient they will describe the path to attribution in the Coneca Services. Be patient it takes time because they are all volunteers and of course the usual error hunting crowds.

with that said I believe you will hear similar to RJO’s response.

Thank you for the information. Sorry about my terminology. I will work on that. I am really interested in the world of the Error coin. I know it is not even close to the ILLUSTRIOUS world of proof collecting. ( If I had the funds I would definitely go that route. I am kind of hoping to get lucky, than the world of ACTUAL coin collecting may come into play. I am starting to indulge my self in finding more and more literature on the error subject. I will keep learning so I don't have to ask so many questions. I will definitely work on my terminology. The wording  needs to be correct or the outcome may be incorrect. I will be in touch if I have any  more viable questions on my choice of looking for a NEEDLE IN A HAYSTACK.

Might I suggest you also try (CONECA) Conecaonline.org. . There are many there sharing the error coin world.

They better do it now before there is no need for them, they could cash in for melt value after the fact and the only circulation would have to be between die hard collectors, there won’t be a cent bowl by the cash register at the pub……?

  6. “He who steals my purse steals trash”, but if I offer up to the beggar an open hand of my change and suggest, take what you need, they always snatch the subliminal silver first.

if it were not for taxes and interest rates calculated similar to the decimal places of pi there would be no need for a coin equivalent to cover the possible round up or down to 1% of a dollar that in accumulation covers all debt and calculations of growth/wealth. Merchants/venders would be more than happy to oblige the rounding up to compensate.(inflate)

The sales tax ain't gonna solve the trillion-dollar never- ending debt crisis, but according to one member's calculations, a $100,000 "contribution" from each American might. 🤣  Back on Track: Rounding, up or down, as a seasoned member has suggested, ought to solve that. After all, it all even outs in the end.

Yes, but only if you always pay with plastic.?

Generating some overlays this morning, if anyone wants some made drop some photos here and I'll see what I can do. The photos need to be as straight on as possible and let me know if coin or medal alignment.

You should develop an app for this, I have seen many confused souls looking for this answer. You have made it have class.
