I was talking with someone and telling them how I love to roll hunt every night. I always seam to find something interesting. It may not be of great monetary value but it is very satisfying. I keep some small jars in a draw next to my desk and when I find something in a US coin role that don't belong there it goes in a jar. This is my foreign jar of coin finds not including Canada. I live close to Canada so I'm always getting there coins in rolls those I put in another jar. I also can see some of you cringing that they are in a jar o.O well these coins are well circulated. I put them in small pill jars( hand placed ) one at a time and they don't move around to much. When I am older and I cant move around much I will stick them in a book. For now this is easier.

Oh also if anyone sees a coin they would like to look at closer let me know and I will post a close-up for you.

I just stuck these in a tube not an hour ago, then saw this post. Think I found a 1965 extra claw beaver though. I need a 30 x to just to find the coin sometimes.?  Lol

I posted about this coin in another thread where I was trying to make up my mind.

The coin finally came-in!  Very excited to have this one in my date set.

I tried to capture all the die rust, showing this to be a later die state, however, this coin still exhibits some denticles on the obverse/reverse.  Early die states are fairly rare and expensive.

The small white speck at K-10 is on the holder not the coin.

The simple beauty in this coin will always only be memorable to me.  👍

That's so awesome that you may be catching the German/Canadian bug!!! I think you'll be happy to add these two countries' coins to your collection.  They both have beautiful designs and great collectability.  While the Canadian and German collecting communities aren't as large as the U.S. collecting community, they're definitely not small, obscure markets either.  Best of luck on your auctions and when you win (I always like to think positive!), please make sure to share your new coins with us.  I, for one, would love to see them!

@R_Rash:  This is a tough one. You have to know where to look, and I don't.  First '26-S I believe I have ever seen. My only comment is a question: why is the eagle crying?   😢  (With a crisper, cleaner image, I'd be willing to try, but the veil or film prevents me from doing so.)  🐓

Not certain of the “snood” type look on the beak. ( for a lack of better words)
