  1. It is a very worn coin only worth its face value. Even though there is no face.
  2. I agree I have seen many box sets and all are priced at the $125 mark. And yes I would have opened it by now just to see how bad the rust is on the folds and see if it had a BB. If you are just into coins to flip them then it will not matter.
  3. I agree with Greenstang, It is not a easy task to find error coins. Many times, magnification can make you see things that will not matter in the end.
  4. Wow a 55 that has not been opened is a cool find.
  5. In my opinion. If a coin is toned or as we used to say tarnished it should only be on one side and maybe on a small bit of the edge on the other side. If it is toned on both sides, I tend to think it is artificial.
  6. I am on the road also; it was 74 today in Pensacola and when I get to Sarasota tomorrow it should be around 80. Now that is more like Spring.
  7. Just out of curiosity, what type coins would you be thinking of grading. You can post a picture here if you like?
  8. Sorry it is just a damaged coin.
  9. This was the only old stuff. The other stuff was only our age and not much better looking.
  10. I finished up the coin bucket. No keepers in the last few hundred coins . I did find two tokens mixed in with the cents. Seeing it is token Tuesday.
  11. No , I can buy these at any coin shop in perfect shape for $1.00
  12. Another 1906 Indian Head from the same bunch of cents. Not worth much but fun to find in 2024
  13. A nicer one. Just not very old.
  14. LoL the change jar is not the best I have seen. There are a lot of 1992,98,99 and 2000 so I have been getting my WAM-CAM fix, with no luck but still fun.
  15. I am visiting some friends, and they offered a jar of cents for me to rummage through on my down time. I will post some of the odd or older stuff here. Nothing to fancy
  16. You may want to save your money and shop around a bit. This is not the kind of hobby you need to rush into. I think you could find a better one. It looks like a nice coin but not a MS65 PCGS coin https://www.ebay.com/itm/204661457342?itmmeta
  17. I have 1975 proof sets and mint sets so yes, but the quarters halves and dollars have both 75+76 on them
