  1. That's what they are suppose to look like. Your dryer works good for making dryer coins
  2. I will just pick up a new/old 64 D at auction. That Omaha MS 66 was only $13 maybe I can find a MS67 cheap either way I will pull the Omaha Bank coin off the registry. That roll coin is a MS66 in my mind but I would never send in a coin for grading unless it was worth $200 or more.
  3. I am sorry but I see coins marked (Cleaned) way to much . Most of the time I think it is marked that way to be safe and not have to commit to a grade. This coin is old and I am sure it has been rubbed the wrong way a few times. I know I have
  4. Ya know I was thinking the same thing last night after I logged out. For what I paid for it. I think keeping it just like that is good enough. I can get another one. Yes nice rolls, Home rolls taste the best a little bit of mix in the rolls ...
  5. That works, I will give them a call on Monday.
  6. Na that didn't work. I guess I will just get a real 64 D .... Again ... to bad. I liked the pedigree label. I wonder if NGC would fix this after all these years it has been this way.
  7. So here is a good one. I thought I would look up my NGC slabbed 1964 D to make a comparison with this coin . The only problem is my NGC Certified coin is mislabeled and not a 1964 D it is a 1964 no D ? is that worth more $. LoL Now what, it is in the registry as labeled and it is a older holder ? I got this coin at auction over a year ago with four coins total on the delivery. I must have looked at the coin a half dozen times and never even thought to check the mint mark. I must be slacking or getting old.
  8. Well this coin must have come from a collection. I never find a 1964 D that you can see die scratches in the field. There were 1,787297,106 of these punched out most with low details no steps and flat hair. This is a nice 64 D.
  9. I also picked up some Home Rolls today. I cant wait to see what may be in these rolls
  10. So I go to the bank to swap out my rolls of nickels and cents to day. I also had a roll of half's that I got last week. I get home to take a peek at the edge as I always do and I see this big silver coin with no reeding on the edge? looks like someone snuck this in for spacing . A Greek 10 Drachmai Constantine coin. It may be worth more than a Kennedy. One thing is for sure, it is the biggest nickel I have ever found.
  11. I was looking at this shot on a close up and it just looks like a scratch skipping over the clouds. And the obverse is nothing special for a MS 67. It is a Top Pop https://www.ngccoin.com/certlookup/6863218-003/67/
  12. So that article is saying that roosters are not as rare as hens teeth.
  13. Lucy. We have not seen the other side but I have to say. Getting a 67 on that coin was a gift . It has lots of hits and a scratch that goes from two a clock to four a clock. I hope you have some more with good grades out of 30 coins.
  14. Sorry you had to learn the hard way Lucy.. Bill and Greenstang are correct. Most TPG do not recognize many of the items you asked for unless it is a very rare error. Now days any true error is very hard to find.
  15. Here is a 04 I thought you might like I got out of a bank roll not long ago. Yours is a D so it has a nice strike.
  16. Sorry to say .You will find that most of the older P + D mint sets you pick up will have coins that are not that great. No FT. FB, FS lots of dings and scrapes.
  17. Yes the rim is the same color you can see that is the first photo . Even where it is worn on the obverse, reverse and the edge it is still darker than normal. Here is another shot without the USB scope. I think this one will go in the coin tin with the other oddballs.
  18. I may have found what you are asking for. This was a coin on E-bay for sale. I am not sure how many coins are in the set? https://www.ngccoin.com/certlookup/6806131-018/70/
  19. I have been saying this for years. There are plenty of nice coins out there all ready enslaved other people have spent good money on that I can buy for a minimal price. I also wanted to say sorry everyone about those USB shots. I posted those this morning before I left for the day . I just got back a while ago and did not realize how unrealistic the LED lighting shots were until you all said something.
  20. That shot was with a USB scope. It is not that green looking . Here is a different shot. It is still not worth grading but it looks better with a normal shot.
  21. Thanks for the vote of confidence Mike . Due to its condition it is a coin that would be last on my list to send in .. LoL
  22. If you want the dollar coin of 1975 it will have to be a Bicentennial. In 1975 the only coins with that date are Cents ,Nickels and Dimes. The Quarters, Half's and Dollars are all dated 1776/1976
  23. Yes I see a lot of stuff from ANACS even at other sites. . That 58 is almost MS. Yes that is why I said it was a Cull. We may never know for sure. I like to post stuff like this to get the opinions of other fellow collectors who get tired of looking at dryer and parking lot coins.
