  1. Thanksgiving Dinner Table for 24.a Big Chicken fry
  2. I know you see a lot of coins Mike. To me it looks like a razor blade cut starting at 2 o'clock and ending at 9. I only say this because I see displaced metal in the crack line at the start and also missing metal like it was shaved off.?
  3. Good eye mike, I am not sure what is going on in that location, but it looks odd. I can't see most of the detail on this coin very much so I will refrain from commenting any more until we see better pictures.
  4. Hi Kellym a $1000 coin ? I roll hunt all the time and for a for a long time. I do it because I still love it after more than sixty years. If you can find a coin that is worth $100 you are doing better than 99.99% of the coin collector's out there. I wish you the best of luck. All the old stuff is gone and the new stuff is not worth salt. I am not saying it can't happen but the odds are against it.
  5. Yes it is Eagle and the 2023 has another small chip inside the zero, but again nothing too dramatic.
  6. A rainy day here so I picked up some coins at the bank for hunting. No old coins this time only new rolls. So I still go through them looking for oddity's Here are todays finds . A die break progression on ten coins on the dome of Monticello. The other find was a chip on the 3 of the date of seven coins. There is nothing of value but I find it is fun to find stuff like this.
  7. First thing is, do the coins need to be graded? There are many here that will give you great advice. All you have to do is Post a photo of both sides of the coin and ask a question.
  8. This sounds like something an AI response would be...
  9. Again. It does not help when you flood the tread with other coins dprince it makes everything more difficult.
  10. It is a good looking coin . I agree with Sandon's information . I would say EF40 . I would not have it graded it is on the borderline for being worth the cost unless you were building a registry set. I know dprince is trying to be helpful but. It does not help when you flood the tread with other coins dprince it makes everything more difficult.
  11. 65,000 boxes at .10 a box is $6500 to move all them boxes was probably good money in 1899.
  12. I think you got a good deal Coinbuf. The plastic is worth $10
  13. You are not side tracking anything you are talking about nickels . You asked a question and we will try to answer anything relevant to the nickel subject. It's all good..
  14. I like this set and would love to find one out there in the wild. I think you should just hang on to it.
  15. This set is still very common and not worth cracking it out. I find what is nice about these sets is you can pass them around to others without to much concern of them getting damaged. I would leave it for future generations to admire.
  16. To me it looks like a beach coin found in the surf. Constantly back and forth in the salt water and very fine shifting sand. This coin may actually be from a beach in Rhode Island..
  17. Yes cobymordet the top step counts. Now if you have a PCGS FS nickel NGC will only count it as a five step for the registry. As for your year of full steps I find the hardest ones to find are from 1960 to 1970. There are also some other years that had very poor strikes. Those coins are also valued a bit high. Have you started a registry set Coby ? It sounded like you have been picking up nickels here and there.
  18. Yes I have a 1951 And thanks Lem ,I will sleep better now .
