  1. I have been looking for a 1958 in MS66 for a while now. They always go fast and for a high price. This MS 65 came up, so I grabbed it there are only 36 graded higher at PCGS and none above MS66+
  2. I agree but if my computer is off I am not online. I do have to log in when I clean my browser which is every other day.
  3. I never sign out and come on every day without having to log in.
  4. I wish you luck some banks are getting fussy and do not want to take those coins.
  5. The reverse proof is not something that you would see raw very much. I think they are too uncommon. They came out for 2018 the anniversary year in different denominations.
  6. You have a good looking collection. I have many toned nickels that I picked up trying to complete my registry set. Some are nice some are not so nice. I do not look for toned coins. I mostly look for low priced MS66 coins some just happened to be toned. You can always keep an eye out for replacement coins after your set is compleat. That is what most of us do.
  7. When you have a clip one side can have more metal than the other side. If you are going to post a copied response to a thread dprince you should at least explain yourself, otherwise it has no merit. Anyone here can surf the web and post the links that you have. The truth is they do not have to because they have a quality that you do not comprehend.... A.. EXPERIANCE = B.. KNOWLEGE
  8. No it is not the DDO-010 I looked at on Verity Vista, The coin I posted is the last one on the Wexler page Eagle posted. It is this one .1972 1¢ WMDO-001 Doubled Master Die https://doubleddie.com/384301.html
  9. But it was still a fun find for a quiet afternoon.
  10. Thanks Eagle there are way too many of these It is from a doubled die. All the devices I posted match up and yes, it is really worthless.1972 1¢ WMDO-001 Doubled Master Die
  11. Quiet day so I was just checking out some old copper cents. I found this and it is a close match to a 1972 DDO-010.. It is at the bottom of the list, but it still looks close. Take a look at it just for fun and tell me what ya think ? 1972 DDO-010 (varietyvista.com)
  12. I see. Still $50 is a lot of money. Reportedly there were no mint sets sold to the public in 82 and 83 so those would have to be from the mint. I can't say what the coins would be like. Most mint sets I have found still have some unpleasant looking coins. IMO.
  13. You may have some coins that were dipped at one time or another or just where they are stored may be doing it. I would keep them as is just my thoughts. I have coins in holders that are toned and look very nice. I think some will continue to tone even in the holder.
  14. It is not easy to tell, it has a different look to it and the whole coin including the rim is dark. I have found maybe two or three possibilities' through the years but without the silly label who's to say other than me. Here is the best one I have found so far.
  15. I am not familiar with those sets. Most third-party production sets do not have the best coins available.
  16. Yes you can get a high grade without the steps. Steps are a big bonus but not required for a MS. Now finding Nickels in high MS is a different story. LoL
  17. If you leave it in the slab, it is a 70 . No one will guarantee against milk spots that I know of.
  18. So they gave Zerbe the first day run of coins off new die's that is the only reason why they are nicer looking coins.
