  1. No there are no slots in any sets for it. I can’t even see that coin. I entered the cert # and I got a similar message I think and that was it. It is nowhere in my coin inventory that I can see. Maybe the only thing would be if someone tried to claim the cert# as their own I would be notified. Otherwise, the coin does not exist as far as the registry. I don’t know if it would work or show up in a custom set as I have never done one.
  2. I really don’t know what happened to my coin. I assume it is in the system somewhere, but I have never been able to see it anywhere. Hopefully someone at NGC can give you more clarification. I wish you the best of luck.
  3. It may be due to being an error. I have a 1959 Jefferson Nickel Improperly Annealed planchet error that was added to my “coin list” but doesn’t show up in my list of competitive coins.
  4. It’s an instant gratification culture now. A lot of people don’t want to do even the simplest of research or learn anything. It’s just “what is this and what is it worth?”
  5. That 2013 SP ENHANCED FINISH ASE is the best looking of the series IMO.
  6. The Polio Vaccine coin in a PF70 holds a significant premium over the rest of the coins in the series. Apparently they do not grade well.
  7. I got the email telling me to check my credentials for the new proof Tuesday, so I’m hoping it will be on its way soon.
  8. Very nice! So are you saying you don’t want to trade for my beautifully toned piece???
  9. Is there a difference in the tail feathers or am I just seeing things?
  10. Those clip on your phone deals are not made for coin photography. I tried one and you have to be 1/2” from the coin and can’t get any light on the coin. Not to mention you can’t shoot anything bigger than a dime or the rims are out of focus. Quality camera, quality lens, good lighting and most important, the skills to use all of it. There is no substitute.
  11. I haven’t seen very many old proof sets. Had to look it up and answer my own dumb question. 🤦🏻‍♂️
  12. 2 Lincoln cents in one set? Nevermind. One is the S mint coin.
  13. Welcome to the forum. All are large date and none of them are worth submitting. Check your coins against these pics to help you determine the difference.
  14. They do it in NGC holders as well. I have a few spotted ones in NGC plastic. Seems like even the 2020s were bad with spots. I’m with Mike. I don’t mess with the ASEs anymore. Here is one of mine that is pretty bad.
  15. That is the “organic” change you get when you shop at Whole Foods. I’ll bet if you flip it over it has a bust of Jeff Bezos.
  16. Certainly doesn’t take long for coins to get nasty. Big ole tasty die crack for ya JP. (Obverse rim to mintmark)
  17. Hello, and welcome to the forum. The NGC price guide is putting these coins at $25 for a PF68 and $75 for a PF69. The cameos are going for a little more, but I don’t believe your coin would receive that attribution. Keep in mind that these are coins that are already graded. It is a little hard to see the condition of your coin through the flip, but I’m not sure it would be worth the price of having it graded. It does look like a nice coin that has a little toning to it. In my opinion, without the cameo designation it is not worth the expense.
