  1. I like this series. If you are going to watch youtube, this is pretty legit.
  2. Thanks for the show. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
  3. Welcome to the new playground my brother.
  4. I would say my surfaces will be altered too at the age of 221. Great piece. I like anything with that reverse. Thanks for posting it.
  5. Great looking stuff everyone! Keep em coming.
  6. I was just watching an ANA video with Rod Gillis the other day about toning and he mentioned that a lot of the Columbians turned dark. Your coin reminded me of that. Here is that video if anyone wants to watch it.
  7. Only 2 simple rules for this thread. 1. Must have a face value of 5 cents. OR 2. Made from nickel alloy. We have a silver thread and a copper thread. I thought it was about time to give nickel some love. Post what ya got. Foreign or domestic, old or new, half dimes, 3 cent nickels, Buffs, Jeffs, Libs, etc.
  8. Thanks. I’m sure your rooster is worth a bit more than this thing here.
  9. Got this one in today. Surprisingly low pop on this one at 3/0 and 6 step coins at 7/0. I think everyone at that time was focussed on the special finish coins. There are plenty of those out there. I feel lucky that I found this one.
  10. Nice low pop coin JP. It is quite a jump in price but when there aren’t that many examples, the price goes up. Nice score.
  11. I apologize. I didn’t answer your original question. Woodie or Woody. I’ve seen it both ways.
  12. My parents had a “woodie” station wagon, but it was not the old surfboards on top type. It was more of the National Lampoon’s Family Truckster type only in red.
  13. Thanks CB. I have acquired a few pieces here and there. A few of them are even red, but I’m particularly fond of woodies.
  14. Thanks GBrad. This is actually the first slabbed Lincoln I ever bought. I don’t have very much copper in my collection. I just finally had Joe image this coin and several others last week. I don’t think I will ever be done with the Jeffs. I appreciate it brother and I hope you are doing well.
  15. Happened to me yesterday but only once. Have seen it before here and there.
  16. CB should at least get Honorable Mention for posting the ultra rare 30 cent piece. Well done sir.
