  2. Sometimes the steps show well and sometimes not. Depends on what you are trying to highlight in the photos I suppose. Without concentrating solely on the steps, you may not get a good idea of how they really look. As good as any pics may be, there is never any substitute for an in hand inspection. A good look at the steps requires a loupe.
  3. No objections here Bob. Thanks for joining in.
  4. I get a silver proof set every year from the mint. I quit getting the clad sets after the added W coins were done. I also get the Innovation $ proof & reverse proof sets as well. I really wanted the W uncirculated nickel that was supposed to come with the proof set in 2020. That was a bummer.
  5. Nice little change find tonight. Not in too bad of shape. Even filled an empty hole in the Whitman album.
  6. Thats a wild looking coin. Very nice. Congrats and glad it finally showed up.
  7. I see several No FG coins accompanied by the floating roof. Are these usually found together on most of the No FG coins or are there multiple die pairs that struck these coins with some having the floating roof and some not?
  8. It looks to me like they were taped into an album to hold them in. Sometimes called tape toning.
  9. True, but if you really look at the bottom “sets” of Jeffs it is people that have one or two coins. That probably accounts for half of the sets in the category. I would bet that Lincolns are the same way. Both very commonly collected coins and a lot of people have at least one or two examples.
  10. Congrats on the new piece and new rank. Being in the top 5 of any registry category is quite an achievement in my eyes. Even if it’s not your goal. Nice work.
