ANACS Has me wondering sometimes ? I see some things labeled that are just not right. Most recent would be a speared bison that the spear is missing. Maybe it fell out. 

Welcome, the short answer would be. Your coin looks like it has been outside in the ground for a long time.

Really breaks my heart this one is scratched. Probably from a staple on a coin flip. Even though it has mushy details, I really like this one. I keep it in a cardboard coin flip. I really like how alot of these buffalo nickels have the streaky toning to them. You can see the large scratch at the top of the reverse. Its sad to see these old coins get damaged. Espically when it can probably be prevented alot of times. 

A few of the little small towns in our area the courts are very corrupt. We have judges who are hooked on cocaine and all sorts of stuff. Around our area its all about who you know wether you get a fair trial or not. My particular county is not as bad but theres 2 nearby counties that are awful. 

My goal is to finish a couple sets and maybe start another one or two. Espically the quarter set. Also planning on upgrading a few that I rushed into buying when I first started. I got some ugly toners I want to replace.

Two things I would like to know is are the 1913 V nickel and 1933 SG DE inside a red envelope accompanied by a note explaining they were promised to me, among the effects found?  🤣  Enjoy, Mike!

I haven't looked through all of it and yes its all raw. Walking, Standing LIbs, Seated Libs,Morgans, Franklins, AU 1928 Peace dollar I saw, other peace dollars, Mercury dimes, Indian head cents, Large cents, half cents, Buffalo nickels, Barber quarters, half's, dimes...and more... then into the early stuff I haven't gotten all of the coins home most I left in my dad's safe. I was given the entire collection, but it will stay where it is until I can secure it properly here. It came out of his safety deposit box at the bank last week. @GoldFinger1969

It is a nice legacy and something that you will always remember. I am happy to see that it will go to someone who will cherish and build upon it rather that going for a quick buck. Congrats.

These 2 are just the tip of the iceberg. Some coins I cannot show due to possible market upset issues as well as security and privacy concerns but let me just say I will have to buy a new safe next week to keep these and the others in. Key dates, scarce dates, US coins BU, AU, XF silver, gold, copper coins early dates 1790 forward some earlier. A comprehensive type set of almost every early US business strike coin ever minted with multiples of each in similar condition. Also, a fine collection of foreign silver and copper coins of the same approximate date ranges 1800 forward. I am very excited to receive this collection as I had only seen bits of it as a child and growing up. My father would never let me see everything until now. Now I see why. Below is just 2 of the 12 2 1/2-dollar Indian Head gold quarter eagles I received. I'm just a bit overwhelmed with all this but extremely proud to carry on my family's legacy of owning these wonderful coins.  Merry Christmas! (photos are a bit washed out)

Oh, it’s not worry. It’s hot burning disdain of a type you can scarcely imagine. IMHO, they are the primary locus of global evil. I realize it’s a “he said, Xi said” thing.

And it leaked, or was intentionally released from the Wuhan lab. Thank you, China! Wait, did I say “thank”? I meant to say ****.

Yes, they ditched the cards and the last time we got the jab the Dr told us that it was now considered endemic and we were going to just have annual CoVID shots now to go with the flu shots. Such a joy. The world keeps turning and finding ways to try to kill us.

So what kind of COVID vaccine is Moderna doing? Is it still mRNA or is it a different technology? My first three jabs were Pfizer/BionTech mRNA, and I never got any of those targeted variants. But we have begun interacting more lately, and now I’ve gotten different variants two times. In case you haven’t figured it out, COVID will be with us forever. 

My reaction to my latest booster was pretty terrible at the injection site. Same for my son and Mother-in-law. I was quite shocked. I had redness for days in that spot and the skin was hot to the touch.

...apparently not....

I havent had much chance to get on here in a few weeks. Its been a hectic few weeks. 2023 was an ok year but, not as well as I was hoping it would be. I added a few to my sets but not a whole lot. The earliest part of the year was the best for me. Then later in the year everything kept going wrong and I didnt get to put any money into my collection fund. I havent bought the first coin in a few months. I have faith and hope that 2024 will be better. Im planning on trying to finish up my set of silver quarters this year. And maybe my 1967 SMS set  of all ms67 cameos and maybe start on a 1965 or 66 SMS set. Id like to upgrade a few of my quarters  this year also. And maybe start a set of either jefferson nickels or rosie dimes. I know I wont accomplish all those things but Im setting a few goals anyways. Hope everyone had a great Christmas and a Happy New Year. 
I did get to add a few awsome tokens to my collection from around the places I grew up and my grandfathers worked. That was very special for me. Those werent as valuable of some of the coins I bought but they hold more of a sentimental value to me.  I had a very good friend to gift me some to.
