  1. I love 1909 cents. My favorite year of that design. This is a lower grade coin but it's the only 1909 S I have. I love the look of the woodgrain on the reverse. I wish it didn't have the big ugly black spot on the obverse. But overall I am very happy to own it. May be the only one I ever get the chance to own. I bet this old coin could tell some stories if it could talk. ANACS F12
  2. Thanks for the link. I got a couple of those. I noticed they were thicker than my other slabs. And I'd heard that name before. Now that I got a nice little assortment it will be fun to look them up on that link and see which ones I have.
  3. I stuck it in a coin flip and put it in my collection so I guess I collect Panamas' now.
  4. By the way that is a very nice one. I like it. Is that one of those old fattie holders? Ain't that what they call them?
  5. Yours outta be a half a million.
  6. I love that. Nice one. That's one on my bucket list to own.
  7. I agree. Chances are bout as good as hitting the Powerball.
  8. Pr is poor shape. F means fine. Xf means extra fine. The scale from 1 to 70 is called a Sheldon scale. A coin gets assigned a numerical grade from it based on the condition its in.
  9. The numbers are a scale that goes from 1-70. 1 being poor. 70 the best. Ms is mint state from 60 up. Ag is about good. If you see one around 53 or 58 on it. It means it's about uncirculated but does show some wear.
  10. MS means mint state MSPL means mint state proof like MSDPL means mint state deep proof like PF means proof
  11. Found something cool in my change from gas station. This Panama coin. I know it is nothing special and not worth anything. It's just cool finding it here where I live. We don't see coins like this everyday out here in this small town. There's no way I'd ever try to have it graded or anything like that. It's pretty much worthless. Just wanted to show you all a cool find of the day so far. Usually don't see much foreign money here. And one from Panama made it here.
  12. They can tone about any color. It's got different metal compositions than Morgans.
  13. Looks like the clad layer is still there. It just toned that color over the years.
  14. That's what I figured to. Most people knows better. I hope they don't take advantage of someone who doesn't know any better. I can't stand people who do that to people.
  15. Anyone want to buy a steel penny? Just 20 some thousand dollars. The description said ," Rare misprint. The backside is printed completely upside down." Wonder if they don't realize that's the way they are supposed to be. According to their feedback they only sold a handful of items. But it won't let me click on their feedback. Says no positive feedback. Oh yeah. Says ms62 but got a picture of a raw coin. Recon I outta send them a message and tell them they need to be on esty instead of Ebay. With the other loonies. I took a screen shot of it. Can't believe 23 people is watching it.
  16. I agree. Those 2 above are absolutely beautiful. Makes it even better being silver. Those are gorgeous.
  17. I absolutely love the wildlife designs on coins and tokens. I've got some regular old brass ones from the North American Hunting Club. The ones I got ain't worth anything but I love them.
  18. It's a very beautiful design. Old Frank is a very impressive artist.
  19. It's pretty bad at several towns. Some of the other places it will zip right thru I've noticed. Then get to a certain town and get stuck. I had a package stuck for 2 weeks at one town before. And other towns for 3 to 5 days. Hopefully this covid will clear up soon where everything can return to normal. I was very happy to see your coins make it there safely.
  20. Our small towns post office is a great place. The ladys who work there are very honest. I send mine registered and pick out the best package I can find while there. Then the ladys tape them up tight for me with tamper proof tape. Every seam. If I ask they will double tape each seam and overlap the first piece of tape.
  21. You sure did. Did a wonderful job. Some of the best pictures I've ever seen. Amazing.
  22. I just took a look at your registry. Those look amazing. I like all those top pops.
