I have an old widows mite coin like that. It just tells the chapter in the Bible where the widow gives Jesus all of her money which I think was only 2 mites. It is the very first slabbed coin I ever bought. I wanted one pretty bad because of its history. It doesn't have a grade anywhere. Just shows that it's authentic. Pretty cool to own a 2000 year old coin. Even though it's only worth around $40. Ancients are very cool. Soon I'm gonna slowly venture into that area of the hobby.

I remember years ago we were flying to NYC. We took off from Lexington KY. We had to fly plum down to Atlanta GA and get on another jet and fly into NYC. That was wild to fly that far out of the way.

I completely understand. I would be having a panic attack. Just to try to help ease your mind I've had a couple packages do the same thing. I sure hope it's the same case for you to my friend. I'm praying they are OK for you. It sure nerve wrecking not knowing. I will continue to pray and hope the best it turns out ok for you. I hate to see good honest people taken advantage of by a worthless theif. It's happend to me several times. One $5000 dollar hit when my ATV was stolen. And several others things over the years. I take it personal when it happens to anyone. My heart goes out to you my friend. I'm sure they are OK more than likely though.

I think they are still stuck at a post office somewhere he was saying a couple days ago. They hadn't made it to Florida yet. Tracking won't update. I had that happen a few times on coins I bought. One got stuck for almost 2 weeks before it departed and moved on to the next town.

He captures the true beauty of them. He's got a good setup and the skill to go with it. Ive tried everything with what I have and can't get it right. Without buying a more expensive set up the pictures I been taking is as good as it gets for me.

Yes sir. I try to find them like that if I can. I can't wait until they are approved where they are PCGS. See if they bring me up a spot or two on the registry. I've made it to 185. I'm gonna try my best to place in the top 20. I'll never be able to make it to the top 10 because those guys have some serious coins. I wish they would share pictures of them. I'd love to see those beauties.

I was very happy to add this one to my GW set. I love the rim toning that goes completely around the whole coin. It is one of my favorites in the set so far. 1948 S ms 66.
