  1. I agree with Coinbuf. It is very important to keep desiccant packets in your slab storage boxes.
  2. I almost said him a couple days ago.
  3. I've wore Wikipedia out trying to get this one.
  4. PF65 Cameo. @Lem E nailed it and the last one I posted. He was the first one to guess both times also.
  5. I love ones with a very lite golden tone.
  6. Adam Eckfeldt. I know he was chief coiner but I seen where he also engraved a little. @RWB
  7. I was very happy to win the bid on this one. One of the nicer ones in my set so far. MS66 with a CAC green bean.
  8. I sure hope you score on this one my friend. I've got my fingers crossed too.
  9. I did get this beauty in the mail earlier. Another GC win. This is a sweet quarter looking at it in hand. Probably one of the nicest ones in my collection so far.
  10. That would be awesome. This is the only 32 D I got. I'm gonna be saving up for a while to get a good one for my registry set. Gonna try to do it all in MS coins if possible.
  11. The ones in this roll were beat up real bad and white milky stuff all over them. I guess it's the soap or whatever that they wash the planchets in. They had abrasions all over them also. Looks like they bagged them all up together and put them in a paint shaker.
  12. I just rolled up a whole roll of Ps to put back. They are all pretty rough tho. I'd say the nicest one is probably only a ms64.
  13. Lets try another one of these. I enjoy these guess the grades. Let's try a Franklin. The scratches by the 3 in the date and the T at the end of TRUST, is on the holder. It was scratched up pretty bad when I got it in from Great Collections. But they noted that when they had it for sale. It doesn't bother me none. Better the holder then the coin inside. That's why when I get coins graded I pay the extra and get the scratch resistant holders. But I only do one or two at a time. It probably be different on a bulk submission. Cost a fortune to do several of them in one submission. I think it's well worth it in my case of only doing a couple at a time. Anyways I'll shut up and post the coin. Have fun my good friends. Thanks for giving it a try.
  14. Those also had a die crack on them. They were all pretty rough looking to. The best one out of the whole roll may grade ms64. I've never seen so many brand new quarters look that terrible.
  15. Got one back at Arby's a couple mornings ago. They are just now getting started in this part of the country.
  16. I need to get a set for my birth year. Still haven't yet. I'm an 82 model. Don't think I even got an 82 in my collection at all. Actually I do think I got 1. The George Washington commerative half dollar. I think it's an 82. Pretty sure it's the only 1. I need to find me an 82 d small date copper penny. That would be a real birth year coin to have.
  17. I went to the bank this morning to get a roll to check and got a whole roll of 2021 P. Nothing but.
  18. I got a new roll of 2021 P quarters. I noticed several of them has been struck off the same dies cause they got a matching die crack on them. Also noticed the ones with the die crack all have the same abrasive lines on them by Washingtons chin. Could this be something that was on the die? Because they are all at the same angle and in the same spot. The only ones that have them are the same ones with the same die crack. The lines seem to go to the device then stop. Could it have been when they tried to polish the die they abraided it pretty badly? Here's 2 different ones in the pictures below for an example. I also noticed that the lines get lighter on some as the die crack grows larger. I also know these coins are only worth face value and they will bring no premium. I'm just curious and trying to figure out what caused such rough abrasions on that die. Are those where they polished the die?
  19. He took alot of his pictures off and edited alot of it for some reason.
  20. I tagged you on that thread if you wanna read through that mess. I'll probably get yelled at from everyone for reviving that thread.
  21. Denver. Lol. Inside joke. A person posted one while back and argued with everyone for over a week that it had six flattened S mintmarks under a D mintmark. He just couldn't agree with us there were no S marks there. He seen all kinds of crazy things on that coin. He was hard headed.
