Both have changed ownership and answer to different bosses. Short term revenue increases and cost reductions are moving up the priority scale. It’s the way everything works these days.
Yes sir they have... this leads me to think are they looking for profit now instead of the integrity of the grade?? or do you think they are going to rely on the sticker process to tell them they did a god job or not? Will they also sacrifice against better judgement and default to that higher grade for the all mighty dollar?

Yes this is how they sold them i have all 3 years 79-81 ..... However i have not seen them in the red envelope but the other 2 i have are exactly what youpictured.

As a rule I would never by a Cleaned,, details cleaned, whizzed coin at any cost.
This is my rule as well. once yuou have a problem coin. It is yours.. and i mean yours .....because most collectors will not take it off of your hands for half price.

Cool Find JP. Yes die cracks can be pretty cool to find and some look pretty darn cool.
-
I do not think they consider that a scratch. i think the would look at that as bag marks.

For some issues you can not remove them from the USPS mailing box to get certified. It all depends on what you want as to what rules you have to follow.

This is not a DDO-001.................your best bang for your buck is to send this to NGC for grading... She is a very high grade Jefferson .....any Jefferson collector would be proud to have it.
