Bill is right. the only Bi-Centinial coins worth money are the ultra high grade ones.. They made these in the millions and even non collectors kept them. you may be ablr to get a couple of dollars but that is about it.

Silver isnt a good option to stack whne the economy goes south amd stock markets crash -- over the last 50 years the last 10 biggest recesion periods silver has lost almost 18% during those times... their has been som outliers like the hunt bronthers inthe 80's with a 66% decline and thne again in the early 20's where it dropped 33%. .. so now you have to ask yourself WHY would i take this risk it is almost as bad as the stock market. So is this an investment? do you think that this wil out perform your normal investments? or is this just part of a well balanced portfolio? I say stacking is not wise if you are trying to make money. as shown it is not a hedge. unless you think that losing is good?

Speaking as accurately as I can, this past January’s FUN show was a little short on quantity of shoppers, but waaaaay long in the QUALITY of shoppers.
Yes this past FUN show was pretty good. Saw Mike Linebaugh Space Shuttle Launch director manning KSC booth. I did notice that this year was a ton of gold for sale. just about everyone had gold to sell that and paper. Also tlaking to a couple of the dealers i know they said they were having a really good show. i think it was the two yeas of being pent up. i know i dropped my two years worth of budget I had saved but your right the aisle were not a packed as they usually are. I went on Saturday and will got to Summer on Saturday becasue of the trip over form the coast. I was expecting more people as well

Welcom back Gold.. Man i tell ya i was in the hospital on an emergecy gall baldder surgery and it sucked. i think after four days of them coming in and checking on me and poking and proding and nno sleep because they kept me up. i told the doctor when he came in the next morning to get me the heck out of here. I told him i now know why people die in here its because they dont let you alone!! so i was sprung that night with all of the drain tubes and everything and finally got a good nights sleep! So i am glad you are doing better and get some rest bud!

so they will contact you and ask
yes they will send you an email.. and say tht this coin is a good candidate for conservation would you like it. and you would have to answer them

Conservation does not automatically mean that you are going to get a point added to your grade. the coin will still be the same grade it will just be. professonally cleaned and stablized.

oh this brings back memories of the old days before we had all of these fancy TPGs!!! This is how it used to be done and this is a lovely set. I would leave them just as they are or get i nice binder with pages for the holders. makes me want to dig around for my old school folder

Coin buff is correct this is just an ordinary 84 - O. what you are seeing is probably a strike from anopther coin hitting it in the eject bin or fro rubbing around on it in a bag.
