Agree 100% on this statement. Lighting is critical in any type of photography.

I've sent a dozen or so coins in to be graded and removed them from their non-TPG holders and/or Mint capsules and placed in flips and still getting MS70's on most new coins and expected grading on others. If you use care and gloves when handling you'll be fine (along with proper packing material). As much as it's a pain for us to open the snap lock types imagine if everyone did that to them and they had to do 100's or even 1000's of those daily.

Honestly the "D: in the background appears to be a "S", you can see the curvature of the S below IMO. The upper S appears to have After Mint damage that has distorted it.....
....but I have been wrong before

You know, I watch these conversations about a CAC designations on coins and I understand why people have a desire to submit them to this process because of the "extra POP" a coin may have beyond it's regular grading, toning, nice luster...etc and the "value" of this particular coin is $215@67 but I'm not sure of the true added value of a sticker that's identifies it being extra eye appealing, not too mention a additional fee, since it won't add a + to the 67.
           Would a CAC validation make it equal to a + or a additional 50% of a + or would it simply have the status of "Extra Neat Coin" ?

I may be a bit of a newb in some regards but I have enough sense not to break open a MY67 hahaha...dunno about the CAC stuff, looks nice as is.

@Hoghead515 careful, they do that on purpose. They put foreign monies out there to ensnare you into collecting other types. I SWEAR....it happened to me ! 

I like these for the fact they present some facts and reasonings on why a individual has been honored on a coin. I did something for my Cincinnati Mechanics token but not a official TPG thing.
   I think these could help involve people into collecting as it provides some history and may be enough for them to look into the coin and history of the person.

WoW !, I'm going to break out mine and maybe I can retire earlier. If they get 22k for ms62 my MS67 should be off the charts.  

Big SIGH...so I'll need to submit 100+ coins, and a upgraded membership, to get these labels. Once again, the regular collector misses out. Guess I'll just buy one these each and leave it in the Mint packaging, if I get lucky enough to get one from the Mint itself which is a challenge in itself.

Interesting design....but I'm going to have to side with the Gold piece....The brow and the hard look expression on the gold Eagle really stands out for me. That guy seems to be ummm juicing

Looks like a 47' to me also. The one big bummer about metal detecting is that with all the fertilizers used nowadays and in the past in the soil, and mother nature herself, can eat a coin up in a short period of time.

I don't have a expansive collection but while updating my Excel file on prices I noticed my 2006 W EAGLE BURNISHED GOLD EAGLE   went from $2300 on 4.8.21 to $2775 on 4.14.21. Many of my $100-$500 have for the most part have not changed but this is based on NGC and PCGS data that always isn't current market value.
I never base prices on feebay.

Could it be that the data wasn't available in time for publication ? No baseline value yet due to "newness" other than U.S. Mint cost ?

I have to admit I've never been to a true Coin show, large in person auctions that had coins and currency within them yes. I look forward to actually seeing a raw coin in person, of any value, instead of trusting digital images.
    I'll probably go broke fast.
