  1. Although their site doesn't specify they do request the use of the proper sized flip.  https://www.ngccoin.com/submit/how-to-package/
      https://www.ngccoin.com/submit/coins-we-grade/#return-packaging

I've sent a dozen or so coins in to be graded and removed them from their non-TPG holders and/or Mint capsules and placed in flips and still getting MS70's on most new coins and expected grading on others. If you use care and gloves when handling you'll be fine (along with proper packing material). As much as it's a pain for us to open the snap lock types imagine if everyone did that to them and they had to do 100's or even 1000's of those daily.
    hope this helps.

  2. Greets All,

I upgraded my Birth year set on this coin and no longer need this beautiful 1959 1C PF 68 RD
I have it listed for $40US (NGC has it at $75US) plus shipping. You can either PM here or just follow the link where PP and CCs can be accepted via a secure site.

Hi. I am looking for a 1997 Philadelphia Mint Souvenir Set to purchase. I am aware of the lack of numismatic value for Souvenir Sets as well as the absence of most hard data for mintages, sales histories, etc. I am also aware that these 1997 P sets rarely surface and that production may have been as few as 100 sets (or less). Regardless, I am in the market for one set so if you have one you would like to sell please let me know. Thank you!!

I'm personally not a ebay person but a quick search brought a few sets up.

Just realized there's a difference between Mint set and Souvenir set

Totally agree.  Will you give it a shot at CAC?

You know, I watch these conversations about a CAC designations on coins and I understand why people have a desire to submit them to this process because of the "extra POP" a coin may have beyond it's regular grading, toning, nice luster...etc and the "value" of this particular coin is $215@67 but I'm not sure of the true added value of a sticker that's identifies it being extra eye appealing, not too mention a additional fee, since it won't add a + to the 67.
Would a CAC validation make it equal to a + or a additional 50% of a + or would it simply have the status of "Extra Neat Coin" ?

Slab and coin are far too beautiful for that.  You've got a real nice one.  CAC?

I may be a bit of a newb in some regards but I have enough sense not to break open a MY67 hahaha...dunno about the CAC stuff, looks nice as is.

  6. Big SIGH...so I'll need to submit 100+ coins, and a upgraded membership, to get these labels. Once again, the regular collector misses out. Guess I'll just buy one these each and leave it in the Mint packaging, if I get lucky enough to get one from the Mint itself which is a challenge in itself.

"These attractive labels are available for bulk submissions of 1921 Morgan and Peace Dollars, and will be offered for the highly anticipated 2021 Morgan and Peace Dollars being released later in the year."
