A beautiful coin to say the least, and a substantial amount to be found by the son given the time period.

The differences seem very noticeable to me.

It only comes up on the website www.ngcoin.com where it changes it to www.ngccoin.com/install. Don't know why it chose this site unless someone with a grudge. Commonly referred to in Computer speak as a 'Hijacker'. They over ride NGC to get you to install their program.

Where does the domain name.vn come from?
-
The domain name registry for .vn is the Vietnam Internet Network Information Center ( VNNIC ). In 2003, the company Dot VN, Inc. signed an agreement with VNNIC allowing it to market the vn domain name abroad.

@LISA B Any thoughts on how to add a CAC designation to a coin in registry, one that has been in a persons registry but was sent in at a later date?
nevermind

How does a person update/change a coin status that is already in the registry, competitive sets, but has been sent in to CAC for evaluation and has received a green or gold bean ?

Oh my... I am heartbroken about that 1949-O!!!!!! Still a nice lot to go through though.
...and the 1849 broke my heart too
...but yes, it's saddening. -
So, I picked the coins up today and talked to my sister about what to expect once i saw them
..... which wasn't much.
Couple of interesting but worn ones, the bronze 1864 stood out and a few others.
A major bummer was the 1849 G$1 that had been turned into a necklace back in, I think 1925, by a N.J. jeweler that came with it's own special packaging(no pic of it). The Rev looked great and the Obv was pretty nice also minus the ding on the rim.
The Indian 1C speak for themselves but I'll break out the ole magnifier to have a better look at a few more "key" dates.
3 - 1932 25c most likely XF at best.
8 - 90% Kennedy's
19 - 80% Kennedy's
1 - 1896 Morgan maybe 50/53
...a few others I'll add at a later date.
Thanks for looking. -

Sister texts me that she has 117 Indian 1c dating from 1864-1909 along w/30-40 what she thinks are all silver Kennedy's that came from a in-laws safe deposit box. Her In-law and herself apparently have "joint custody" of sorts.
1st question asked,"can I polish these with something?" and 2nd "can I use baby wipes?" ....I immediately call her and let her know with a resounding NO ! "but some have green stuff on them" she says...Told her no cleaning what so ever and to handle by edges (but I already know about the handling part with her, can't help that.)
I'll pay a visit next weekend and see how bad of shape their in, saw a pic of them in a envelopeand some have seen better days, saw quite a few prag to fine. Who knows maybe some of the 1860's range ones have a decent value even if in lower scale, time will tell. I know they don't intend on keeping these as that crew is all about the $$.
Looks like I have a bit of a adventure ahead of me.- Rummy13 and Fenntucky Mike

I have 2 new, at least to me, 1c coins I picked up raw in a auction a while back and decided to test my meager grading skills on them.
I'm very pleased that my grading matched NGCs, although these aren't part of any particular outstanding pieces.
One here and other in For the Love of copper coin forum. Please excuse the poor images.

After selling 31 coins recently I swore I'd chill out for a bit and well ....![ ](//content.invisioncic.com/r266626/emoticons/whistling2.gif.a4297648926cc0d570321f2611ca5083.gif)
....I've wanted one of these for some time now and got it at a very reasonable price at a auction, so merry xmas to me (along with a few others I'll post once I receive them).
