Greenstang got a reaction from RonnieR131 in Newbie Question - Double Die Obverse
That is what is known as Die Deterioration Doubling (DDD), a worthless type of doubling caused by a worn die.
Please do not use screen shots, they are too pixilated especially when you increase the size of the picture.

Greenstang got a reaction from JT2 in What condition is worth grading?
Agree with the above, you would lose money having them graded.

Greenstang got a reaction from Hoghead515 in 1983 WASHINGTON QUARTER ERROR
That is 100% damage. There is no way that could happen during the striking of the coin.
Surprised there is even any doubt. You certainly don't need to see the coin to know it is not an error.
Worth 25 cents if you can get someone to accept it.

Greenstang got a reaction from KarenHolcomb in Ok To Just Share?
Nice find and nice photography, not much left holding that die together.
-
Greenstang got a reaction from zadok in Would you guys consider this a mint error?
Pictures are pretty blurry but it looks like it is a slight off centre strike.
Not really off enough to add any value.

Welcome to the Chat Box.
Not sure what you mean by where to send it, there is no value above face for that damaged quarter.
Spend it if you can.

Greenstang got a reaction from Coinbuf in Double small date 1982 D Lincoln cent
Looks like a copper plated zincoin to me. Check the weight to two decimal points.
I see some zinc dust bubbles and the start of spilt plating.

Greenstang got a reaction from rrantique in GSA Hoard Question/s
Just a simple matter of going online to see the different styles. That's wear I found these pictures of the three different holders. Also a picture of the soft case for lower grade Morgans. If it is not in a sealed case or holder, then I don't think there is any way of telling if it is a GSA.

Nice find in change.
Suggestion, if you crop your photos, it will increase the size and make them easier to see.

Hafta agree with Kurt
That is not GSA holder. Doubt if it is even a GSA Morgan.

Greenstang got a reaction from pigeonman333rd in Another awesome find to me
As In stated earlier, the easiest way to tell if it has been plated or not is to just look at the edge. There is no guessing this way.

Greenstang got a reaction from JT2 in 1957 D NICKEL
I see Die Deterioration on the reverse, wear and possible damage that has flattened the letters on the obverse. No sign of DDO and very slight MAD

Greenstang got a reaction from Moneyy in 1973 10 cents Canadian dime gold
It looks like you may have broken about even, depending on the value of the half and full sovereign as they are worn. Probably worth $12-1300.00. The Canadian gold 50 cent is worth about $130.00. The James Madison medal could be worth at least $400.00, maybe more, depending on the grade. At least you didn’t lose this time.

Greenstang got a reaction from GoldBear150 in Is the dime worth grading 1996 W
Ask yourself, how much do you think that dime is worth.
Unless the answer is at least $150.00, then it is not worth grading.

Greenstang got a reaction from Hinkle in 1966 penny's "MD" Mechanical Doubling
I would say that all three are MD.
-
Greenstang got a reaction from NewGuy1 in 1962 D what happened to this coin.
PMD, Impossible for that to happen during the minting. It has been damaged after it was struck. Exactly how it happened doesn’t really matter as damage is damage.
-
Greenstang got a reaction from JT2 in 1969 S not a variety
Welcome to the Chatbox
It looks like it could be a small die chip.
Common and not considered an error.

Take the money and don’t let him talk you into an exchange. He knew what he was doing so don’t have anything else to do with him.

Greenstang got a reaction from JT2 in Ungraded Graded 1921 peace
All 1921 Peace Dollars are High Relief, I don't know why NGC puts it on their labels. Low Relief wasn't introduced until 1922.
As far as a grade goes, I would say low AU.
Don't forget that a seller can put whatever price he wants for a coin. It is up to the buyer to determine what it is actually worth to them.
