  1. That is about what Pinehurst Coins, dealt with for years, is selling to Type 2 for. Type 1 for $39.50.
  2. Woolrich Wollen Mill in the village of Woolrich. When I was young it was the go to place for a hunting coat. There was none finer; warm and water proof. Today everything is 'Made in China'. Breaks my heart. Don't know if your getting 'Keepers' or going for the resale. Either way it appears as of now you will make a decent profit. They are not budging an inch on EBay.
  3. Neither am but unfortunately it is the only 'game' in town. When the US kicked the Gold Standard and then the Silver Standard we were doomed to wind up with worthless paper. I'm also surprised that the Yuan hasn't become the big money worldwide. Everything is electronic today. Credit/Debit Cards, Direct Deposit, etc. May as well get rid of the paper.
  4. On EBay at this very moment. Mint charges $85.00 for 1 ounce of Silver that most dealers charge $40.00. I'd say some folks are gonna be happy sellers. 2021 CC MORGAN SILVER DOLLAR WITH CC PRIVY MARK *Confirmed Order* Lot of 5 Price US $1,625.00 $85.00 at the Mint = $340.00 not a bad profit huh?
  5. So far ATS there are only 10 saying their orders are "Processing". But several also say: Has anyone had their order for the CC and O changed? I have an order for 2 of each (on the same order). It appears to be processing for one each But still says 2 on the order. The amount billing on the CC is half of what it should be.
  6. Oh, let the celebrations begin! Here and ATS they are just hoping up and down at getting their bright and shiny 'Privy Mark' bullion coins, Don't forget to send them for Grading and Slabbing.
  7. I went 12 years to a Catholic School here in beautiful, downtown Lock Haven. We were light years ahead of the Public School. While the two Public Schools were teaching Math we were doing Algebra, Geometry and Trigonometry. On the day I graduated I could speak English, Latin, French and Spanish. When I took the SAT to get into Eastern Oregon University I scored in the upper 1 Percentile of the Nation. Owe it all to those Nuns. Those were the days.
  8. But it isn't their fault. Look how poorly our schools are being run. Teachers don't educate the children they indoctrinate them. How is a kid supposed to manage money when he/she has never had Math? No wonder the younger generations have become dependent on mechanical devices.
  9. How sad but true. If you hand a youngster a Number 2 Pencil today they stare at you with this blank look. No more Reading, Writing, Arithmetic for the children today. Social Studies is the name of the game.
  10. How about not cleaning them at all? That grunge and grime you're washing away is part of the history of the coin. However, it has now become acceptable to 'Dip' silver coins, send them to a TPG, and get a Straight Grade on the coin. The coice to clean or not is entirely yours.
  11. Gotta agree with you Boss. When I bought that pile of useless metal I have it was below $10.00. And I am sorry for the day I ever bought it. Dealers want to seel to you at 2021 prices and pay you 1980 prices on buy back. Now gold - bought a handsome pile of that back some years before 9-11 and have held it since. I'll be in Hades and the children will be drinking beer.
  12. No! There were bags of 78s sold in the 1950s (By 1954, the 1878-CC was probably the most common Uncirculated dollar variety of this mint in dealers' hands. Around that time, Treasury dispersals trickled down to a virtual halt. Perhaps additional bags were deeper in the vaults and thus inaccessible. Whatever the reason, when quantities of other CC dollars started coming out in large numbers in 1955, the 1878-CC was not well represented among them. However, there were some scattered exceptions, such as the 1958 release of 1878-CC bags in Montana.Probably, well over 100,000 coins were paid out by the Treasury from the early 1950s until toward the middle of that decade.)
  13. I recently purchased a 1921 (P) PCGS MS 64 OGH 3 Gen Holder from EBay for $48.00 + Free Shipping. Prices 'appear' to be rising but more on the 21 Peace Dollar.
  14. Are you sure you don't want to think it over? Those Ukrainian hackers with their Ransomware prefer payment in Bitcoin.
  15. I'm waiting for those famous Ukrainian hackers to get access to the Crypto Currency system. If kids can do it well............ Andrew Schober, a Colorado man, claims he had 16.4 Bitcoin stolen from him in 2018, according to KrebsonSecurity. After working with investigators, he now says that he has discovered the identity of the boys who, when they were both minors, tricked Schober to transfer the Bitcoin to their possession using malware.
  16. If so, and I don't doubt you, but then what's the reason to have the "Remember Me" checkbox?
  17. Well, I come from that generation that really liked cash and change. What I can't seem to grasp is how this Mayor is going to pay his people. One Bitcoin is now 61,576.42 US Dollar. How are the paychecks or whatever going to be made out? Who makes $61,000 every two weeks? 1/10th of a Bitcoin; 1/40th of a Bitcoin? Very confusing.
  18. We had a post not so long ago by an NGC expert on finding new varieties of coins unexpectedly. So Mr. Bradley44 - there is always hope.
  19. Today: The Mayor of Miami is pushing to have City paychecks in Bitcoin. san Francisco, New York City, Toronto, Canada and more are Crypto Currency friendly. Any thoughts on this?
  20. My 'Mole' in Washington, DC tells me this may be a Russian Cyber Attack designed to make the Russian 2021 1 ounce 3 Roubles coin more collectible with the Western coin grabbers. . приветствую товарища
  21. Welcome to the club J. If this continues as it has in the past it will get worse before it gets better. Myself, I am now on my fourth browser to get signed in. Anyway, good luck and someone will come soon to help with your coin.
