  1. Nationally known Coin Dealer asked $145.00 for the CC and less for the D, S and P. Prices on EBay going down every day. 2021 Morgan O = $99.00 and Free Shipping.
  2. You are so right. The 2021 Morgans and the 2021 Peace Dollars were 'teasers'. If enough interest is shown - then let's run with it. Going to be just like the Quarters. It's just so sad. So many people had their hearts set on this being of supreme quality and a 'Once in a Lifetime' experience.
  3. Go over to EBay and run the 2021 Morgan Dollar, NGC Graded, and marvel at how many were less that MS 70 and MS 69. This isn't 1921 and we have the technology to produce high quality coins. When they sell a better struck bullion round on Etsy than we can buy at the US Mint - something is wrong.
  4. I would be willing to bet good money they are discussing that idea. I would go back to the US Mint, after decades of being away, if they would just fix their web site.
  5. And just when all you super collectors felt you were going to have that 'Once in a Lifetime' the US Mint comes out with a surprise. "Stunning"? More junk in 2022.
  6. Well, it does depend on who you are selling to. If you sell your Bullion to a dealer you will lose money. If you sell on EBay there's always a chance a 'Newbie' will come by and bid high. As I said - it all depends on who the buyer is.
  7. Well, I paid a seller on EBay $118.00 for a 2021 Morgan Dollar Philadelphia Mint. Now the seller paid the US Mint $85.00 + shipping costs and paid, shall we say, $14.00 shipping + insurance to me. The most profit he/she made would come to about $15.00 + or -. What do you want to bet I didn't get a MS 70? Do you believe the seller took a peek before I got it? The seller had 5 on sale at $103.00. Down $15.00 from yesterday. Does any one believe this may turn out to be a failure like the Old San Francisco Mint Dollar? Entitled minds are saying maybe Proofs in 2022 and another run of the Morgans and Peace Dollars.
  8. You certainly did when you posted the title and started rambling on in your first comment. I think you better wait until you've been here a while before you call reputable members names.
  9. Send them in. Get them authenticated. Come back with the results.
  10. Geezo, I don't believe this. Shows how far 'Sleepy Hollow' has deteriorated.
  11. According to some very knowing people there were NO PROOF Morgan or Peace Dollars minted in 2021.
  12. That's neat. I just found an old coin purse I got years ago from Northeast Coin and there were six Sac Dollars in Mylar flips. I believe I got them years ago in a USPS Stamp Coin Machine. Came out as change.
  13. What beautiful coins in this thread. Nice 1883 CC you got there @Hoghead515 and a fella could go blind just looking at that 1838 Nickle. That's a And a MS62 with a Bean! Can't go wrong there.
  14. I've had bad luck with ICG. I bought 3 Carson City Trade Dollars graded by ICG. I thought I was getting a good deal but. Tried to cross them over at NGC and it was 2 Details - Cleaned and the MS62 came in XF40. Haven't bought another ICG. Coinbuf is right. There was a time when they graded reasonable but that never lasted long.
  15. Okay, we're going to say you're right. There is an NGC Post Office and we will not argue any further. What I can't understand is why you people, who know this, will not share the address and Zip Code of this NGC Post Ofiice, Fl so people like me and Zig556 won;t have to suffer the USPS screw ups. With that information we could send our submissions direct to NGC.
  16. Lisa is mistaken. NGC has a 'Mail Room' staffed by NGC employees. It is, in no way shape or form, staffed by USPS employees. If so - then provide the Zip Code for this alleged Post Office. Hello Zorex, Thank you. We are currently opening the mail that was delivered to us on April 26th. Thank you, Lisa "delivered" by whom?
  17. Could you please tell me the Zip Code for this "Post Office". ?????
  18. BTW: Last night the Morgan was selling for $119.00 and right now it sells for $114.00 Think some sellers have had a peek in their 'Little Black Box'?
  19. I didn't get any; yet. You folks aren't the only ones who have coins of poor workmanship and for that I am truly sorry. I use to deal with the United States Mint decades ago but stopped because their Quality Control became so poor. The last item I bought was the Old San Francisco Mint Dollar and it was so shabby I gave it away. You would have thought, with all the hype, this would have turned out better.
  20. You can get at P, D, or S for $119.00 or Best Offer. Maybe the sellers have had a peek inside the Government little black boxes and found the following: (Comments from ATS. Names have been withheld to protect the innocent) just received a Morgan D in the mail from the US Mint this weekend. Upon inspection, it has what appears to be a punch marks or blow holes under the D in "United" and under the last A in "America" on the reverse side. I am new to coin collecting so I'm not really sure what the process is. Does this affect the value of the coin? Should I be asking for a return/replacement? I think they are minor strike thru errors. Apparently quite a few of these coins have problems. Some posted here have larger strike thrus as well. t's a shame to pay all that money for these things and have a bunch of them turning out with worthless strike thrus that are more of a distraction than they are of value. I cannot determine what may have caused those two 'indents'...the one on the left (as viewed) also appears to have a gouge attached, while the right one is clean. Strange... and on a new coin like this... Has anyone seen blue paint? On the Peace dollars? (He had picture to show it) https://forums.collectors.com/discussion/1065925/2021-morgan-dollar-defects#latest
  21. Prices for OGP Boxed 2021 Morgans, all mints, is dropping on EBay. Sellers may have had a look inside the boxes and discovered some flaws and deemed them unworthy of Submitting. And for you Peace Dollar fans check closely for the Blue Paint.

  23. Okay. I'm looking at your 1921 Morgan and that pic suits me just fine. I wish I could help you but all I have is an I Phone 8 and I can't take pics with it worth a darn. From your comment it appears as if you are on the right track. I look forward to seeing some of the pics with your new set up.
