  1. "not my pics or coins" So why are you here taking up space for people who really need help?
  2. Absolutely - positively beautiful coins. You cannot avoid focusing on the little flashes of color. Anyone would be proud to have those in their collection.
  3. Happy Thanksgiving to you. Great Collections is fine but when buying from EBay PCGS and NGC only is my motto. I have found a few ANA/ANACS old white holders I'd buy. No raw coins unless I personally know the seller.
  4. @MN1 Okay. My opinion (and I am the worst coin evaluator living) is: I see nothing that would prevent me from buying this coin. XF 45 is a grade I value about the AUs. I see no hairlines indicating a cleaning but I would refer this to our experts who can give you a more reliable judgement. It hasn't been dipped and I see, what I think, is a minor Die Crack on the top of the 5. I have an 83 but if I didn't I probably would buy this coin. Only my opinions and nothing more.
  5. Now you are not making sense. I thought you said you bought the coins from GC. What 3 services are you talking about. Sorry if I'm confused and I would still like to see the slab labels. You can blot out their serial numbers if necessary.
  6. Correct! And if submitted thru NGC the only way to tell is: 1. The enhanced beauty of the coin & 2. The NGC Number has changed.* Don't know how PCGS does theirs but I do know the conservation pics are 'TrueView'. *Usually takes a month or so to show up in the Database.
  7. Well, it's not on the labels so how do you know they were 'Conserved'? Great Collections tell you that? Share how you can look at an Internet photo and tell that please.
  8. So OP, which service did you use? Two different slabs - could we please see the labels?
  9. I'll second that. Used NCS 4 times on CC Gold coins. Very pleased with the professional job done and had a CC $20 piece go up one grade after their work.
  10. I second that. And if you buy an ANACS look for the small, white ANA / ANACS old holders. Their grades were fairly solid for the time.
  11. I want to say what @Coinbuf said. Hope our friend @MAULEMALL is okay. MAULEMALL has been through a lot tougher tricks than our present run of trolls can dish out. March 2004 MAULEMALL said:" Wow......I just read through all of it and I am a bit surprised by some of the attacking thats going on. Some of those guys need to go get a breath of fresh air, Rub some sunshine on their face and relax. It's like watching a little league football game."
  12. That may be Low Pop but it definitely is a Gem. Nice acquisition; very nice. I am overcome with jealousy.
  13. Do you restore the antique vending machines? Looks to me if you have a rehab there it would be worth some money. Interesting; very interesting.
  14. @VKurtB: Light snow coming to the Lock Haven this morning. Probably be rain in the Harrisburg area.
  15. We've had a few cold nights but the Temp is 62 and Rain here in beautiful, downtown Lock Haven. Weather Channel says 72 in Harrisburg.
  16. Nope. They called us Grunts and we called them Jar Heads, Propeller Heads and Squids.
  17. The 'Insect' is always screaming that "racist', "bigot", "political" nonsense. Place the digital fool on Ignore and get yourself some peace from this insignificant troll.
  18. Known Sellers of Counterfeit Coins 3 People are following this. Would this not be the appropriate place instead of making it look like a 'gripe' session. Show me the EBay Buyer who has not been 'stung' once. But I suppose posting this valuable information in the Counterfeit forum just isn't quite as exciting or attention getting. Eh?
