    Congratulations on completing the Set
Lots of these 'modern' Sets from the start of the 20th century until ~1970's are surprising difficult to complete and even more so in high grade. I seem to have given up and am settling for typesets

Some 16 years into this journey I find that I do far far better with type sets and mint/year sets where-in every coin is different than with date sets where every coin is more or less the same. Where I have had success with date sets it is with series with short runs - 15 years seems to be about my limit.
My Zimbawe and Venezuelan sets - my main claims to fame this decade - are both type sets. These Rhodesian sets are manageable for me at only 5-7 issues.

@Revenant Great pics - one of the first coins I bought as I expanded my British coins to British colonial - cost 20p at the time! Seems to be the only date I had

When we're gone they're just going to sell all our hard work off and go on vacation.
I really hope my sons see value and interest in some of this stuff but I don't expect it.

So sorry to hear this, praying for you all.
We have a family member with epilepsy - modern treatments have been very effective and no one would know without looking at the paperwork. The biggest inconvenience (and it is here in the UK) is that Sam will probably just need his driving licence renewed every few years.
    Very best wishes

I too have had numerous issues with couriers - in the middle of one dispute at the moment as it appears they can't read, or answer emails, or the phone
At least one of the others has stopped emailing all the info about my packages to random email addresses and actually sends it to me now!
Having said all that, everything has eventually turned up even if it is a few months late

Sorry to hear of your loss - fortunately memories don't really disappear and nice reminders are everywhere.
Many congratulations on the little one and the job. My kids had a giant world map on the wall and I would buy bulk world coins lots and they would stick them on the map - bit difficult for countries that no longer exist This covered a bit of geography, a bit of history and all based on coins - they still pick dates and commemorative issues out of their change!

    Very nice examples.
When decimilisation happened here in the UK (later than most places) - 'pounds & pence' changed to 'pounds & new pence' so we never had all the wonderful name changes most people had to deal with, although my old sixpences at 2.5 new pence didn't last long

It would be great to visit the medieval city where the stone birds came from, what remains must be very impressive 'in person' and yet only a hint of its grandeur in the past.

Depends on how you define it. "Great Zimbabwe" was the name of the culture that existed mostly from the 12th to 15th century and collapsed well before the arrival of the British in the late 19th century. "Great Zimbabwe" is where the name of the modern country came from after ZANU-PF took power in 1980.

Same reasons I do not collect moderns, at least you roughly know when old stuff starts and finishes but then I tend to look for new die varieties which results in the same problem

Good luck on your note collecting endeavors.  Banknotes are just as fun and as challenging to collect as coins, I think more so, and I look forward to reading and chatting about yours across the aisle. Or wherever.

I mean, if you get them out really fast I think the old pricing is honored if you get it to them by 2/1.
Honestly though I think it's probably over-due that they increase pricing since obviously at the price they're charging there is WAYYY TOO MUCH demand for their services. And personally I think if it was worth it to submit at the old price it's still worth it after a 5% increase - their price increase is actually even below the current rate of inflation. It's awfully darn reasonable of them.
