Very pretty walker Jackson! Congrats!

I went to my local coin club meeting tonight and one guy was selling BU copper memorial cents for 80c per roll, so I picked up 6 shotgun rolls of BU cents, 1959, 1960-D, 1961-D, 1978-D, 1979-D and one for my birthyear, 1969-D. Fun!

Wow Scott, sweet coin and a super sweet KEY date! Congrats!!!

Oh so it's silver! From the photos it looked more gold, and since I just got an Austrian gold coin today, I had that on the brain! If it's silver that makes a whole lot more sense then! I will definitely look for the 2 lira since I don't have an extra $10K lying around!

Wow, I am surprised at how large this coin was! That is over a quarter of an ounce, bigger than a sovereign, or French/Swiss 20F or even a half eagle! That would put the exchange at nearly $3 per Lira, which just seems incredible given that the last time I was in Italy a dollar bought 1,600 lira!

Absolutely gorgeous reverse on that 2-Lire, what is the composition?

Nice adds rube! The Saints are such pretty coins, as for getting them graded, it's really hard to tell from those photos, but they are both very common dates.
-
Nice one Dave, too bad it wasn't a double eagle with that date!

Sweet one Dave!

Nice additions Bobby! I collect just the Liberty ones.

Received yesterday from Tipisco Coin. Do you think it will cross?
I've always wanted to own a 17th century US coin.
Nice.
I hate to be a technicanal collector, but there is no such thing as a 17th century US coin since the US did not come into being until the 18th century as evidenced by my latest acquisition:

There are several different finishes, the first was supposed to be like a matte finish (this was the $100 version I think), the one I got was supposed to be more lusterous like a business strike (this one was $125), and now Bob mentioned a $65 version, but I never saw that one listed. Right now the only one available is the one I bought, but I don't suppose there is anything stopping them from making more of the other versions.
Post your most recent acquisition: US

I agree, I have one of the same date, 1852 in AU-53, bought it around 2003 and thought I paid too much for what today is about half the melt value!
