Arrived today from David Kahn:
A beauty!

What a classic design, some of my favorite coins when I visited Paris in the mid-1990s...too bad now all you can get are euro tokens!
-
Thanks! I have a definite weakness for them!

Wow, that is just an awesome Lincoln proof!

Yeah, I've been super busy with work and this home ownership is just a huge scam I tell ya! Raking leaves...shoveling snow...all in the same week!
That coin looks great, and someday I'll try to put together proof sets for my mom and dad's birth years, 39 and 41, that's probably why I noticed yours.

So envious of that 1941 proof merc Coindude!

I used to live in Raleigh Hills, and Liberty Coin was usually pretty good. I remember when Columbia Coin was downtown on 5th, but they weren't there anymore, I did a google search later and found they moved outside of town somewhere. I remember my first interaction with them was similar to yours, they didn't seem interested in helping etc. but then I kept coming back and spending money and eventually they became my favorite shop in town. I would have liked to visit them, but I didn't have a car on this trip so maybe next time!

Nice haul Wygold, I was in Portland last week and bough a 2014 silver Britannia and a 2008 silver Philharmonic from one of the gold shops on 3rd Ave. near the Dekum Building.

Here's one I got last week. I know I've been away for a while, but when you move and such it takes time to get back up and running! Besides I had no internet at my new house from the time I moved in back in November until 2 weeks ago!
I had wondered what happened to you. Both you and James had disappeared for awhile now you're both back!
Is that a better Overton on that 1813?
jom
It's an O-101a, so an R.4, nothing too scarce, but it is a 50/UNI which is a major variety that I needed.

This one arrived in the mail today, I believe it's an O-104, I probably paid way too much, but I'm a sucker for this type of halo toning on bust halves...
