Sweet Bustie Ankur, and both those halves are stellar MJ!
-
Pretty RE with a cool die crack to boot! Congrats!
-
Nice one Rons, too bad about the graffiti though, but at least it's not too obvious. I still have never owned a US coin from the 18th century, but maybe someday!

Nice CBH Jeff. How far are you along now with the set?
Bob: I was looking at the Oregon myself. It was very nice in hand at the lot viewing.

Hmmm...by set do you mean random accumulation of bust halves that strike my fancy from time to time? If so, I'm about half done, assuming I live another 30 years. If you mean date or die marriage set, this one did nothing for me, since I already had an 1809 O-105, but this one was just a bit nicer!

Sweet one Jom, and they sure look like adjustment marks to me!

Great half eagle, sure looks a whole lot nicer than a 12 to boot!

What a beauty AnkurJ! Congrats!

I made it to the Stack's Bowers auction this morning and I picked up an addition
to my 1889 Mint set...
Yup,
The 1889 Quarter is what I bid on live when I was in Chicago.
Its in a PCGS 66 holder - and I received an Express Mail box
this past Friday from Stack's Bowers; I was so anxious to open
the box, I didn't pay too much attention to the packing slip [ it looked
odd - and way too long ... but I was more interested in looking at the
newest addition to my 1889 Mint Set. ]
Well... this is what I found in the box... [ to be continued...]
That is just crazy! Though I think I just wet myself a little seeing that coin! Love the reaction of the receptionist trying to put you off till you told her what you had and how much you didn't pay for it!

Got this one late last week, it's been cleaned, but it's a redbook variety I didn't have.
