You mean you can see a date?!
We don't know what you are talking about. What is this coin with no date? Do you have a picture? A link to a web page?

Actually, the blood test was for syphilis.

Would it be safe to assume that the Exposition mentioned in the letter was the St. Louis World's Fair, held April 30 - December 1, 1904?

That isn't typical for the South, as far as I know. When I got married in Mississippi, you had to have a blood test, file and pay for a marriage license, and wait three days before getting married. You also had to have a licensed minister or justice of the peace perform the ceremony.

What is this "No Date Penny?" Can you provide a link to a website with information about it?

You didn't ask, but I don't believe your Trade Dollar is genuine.

Wholesale website Temu.
Like Aliexpress, DH Gate, Alibaba, and other direct-from-China websites, this site contains NO genuine US coins. Everything sold there is fake.
-
Interesting coincidence. I was shopping online for tools for the first time in several months, and discovered Temu tonight. I was not aware that the site existed, but I did some digging and discovered that ever since their ad aired during the Superbowl, (which I did not watch), their business has taken off. Like Powermad, I saw the multitude of counterfeits listed, many of which were being passed off as genuine and made no reference to "copy" or "replica." I will add this site to my thread on known counterfeit sellers.

I always thought that men of the cloth practiced forgiveness, guess I was wrong.
Anyone can be ordained as a minister. It once took many hours of study and cost hundreds of dollars. Now, it is free and costs about a minute of your time and a click of a mouse. Conan OBrian, Lady Gaga, and Dewayne Johnson are all ordained ministers, just to mention a few.

Yep, just damage and dirt.

Other than it being crooked, am I the only one seeing in the closeup at the top right side of the mintmark (about 3 o'clock) a raised line as if it could be a D/D? I looked at varieties for this date there are a few but none match the OP's mintmark for a D/D. I do see a hit right across the mintmark that displaced some of the metal, but I am asking others if they notice the area around 3 o'clock?
In the first picture, it looks like some staining or other discoloration, but in the second, it looks like it could be raised. Maybe some more pics with different lighting angles would show better what it actually looks like in hand. ( Then again, it is late, and I have been on the road all day, so I might be seeing things.)

Welcome to the forum.
There are some areas that are showing up as green on my phone, particularly in front of Lincoln's bust below the date, and behind it next to LIBERTY. How has this coin been stored?
I actually like the toning on this one, by the way. If that isn't PVC residue on there, I would leave it as is.

My opinion is that it is counterfeit.

That is a great looking piece. Nice pictures, too. Did you take them?

The ghosted eagle wings show on the obverse fields. It's freaky.
I've got to find a picture of one of those!

These are often found on uncirculated Walking Liberty halves.
I've not seen one of those. Does it show on the obverse or reverse?

The OP has not visited this site in over a year, and the new poster, Opiniaster, is likely a spammer or spambot.

1983 Lincoln memorial penny (no mint mark) (real/fake)

Ok.
I thought maybe someone had found a cent that was struck through grease or had some other strike anomaly that had obscured the date completely, and I was wanting to see a picture of it.
As my kids used to say, "It's all good!"
