The answer to the question is Regarding collectors swapping out pcgs coins for ngc coins of the same grade and what the reasoning, rationale, goal or motive could be for removing, as Bully says, perfectly acceptable pcgs coins from their sets, is fairly obvious, at least to those of us doing the swapping. Acquired a Modern Commemorative Silver Dollar

I purged all my PCGS coins

Latest addition just arrived today

addition my MS66 Mercury dime set Howdy friend, Received this little gem in the mail today, it?s the latest addition to my MS66 WWII Liberty Head ?Mercury? Dime Set. I love these little coins and I?ve been putting a modest MS66 set together. My first Eisenhower Silver Dollar

and other housekeeping..... Howdy Friends, Recently added this 1976 S Eisenhower Bicentennial Silver Dollar certified by NGC in MS67 to my 20th Century Type Set. There were about 5 Million coins issued and NGC has graded a total of 1250 of them, to date 383 examples graded MS67 only 61 in MS68 with none finer. 1878 P 7TF rev 78 is my latest Morgan

and it's in the old fat NGC holder. I've been trolling for an affordable 7 tail feather to populate the 1878 slot in my Morgan 1/date set. Acquired this example recently and it's in the old fat NGC holder. Graded 7TF REV 1878 MS63 and exhibits light orange toning around the entire rim obv & rev. Came home today to six coins in my mailbox.

one of them a beautiful Franklin Cameo. I Received a 2011 PF70UC Clad Kennedy Half Early Releases, 1967 SMS MS67FT Roosevelt Dime, 1962 & 1963 PF67 Franklin Half?s, 1879 S MS63 Morgan Dollar, and a coin I have been wanting, a nice 1957 PF67CA Franklin Half. Two Morgan's arrived this week

I'll have the entire date run in MS, well kind of.... Two Morgan silver dollars arrived this week both NGC MS 63?s in edge view holders and filled the 1891 & 1897 slots in my Morgan Date Run Set. I started the set with MS63 intentions and thought I could pick up a 64 once in awhile when someone wasn?t looking. I?ve decided I?m going to hold off on filling the ?93 & ?95 slots until I die and have left instructions for my executor to fill those slots posthumously from my estate. Figure

Tip from a photographer friend Build yourself a photo studio out of a box! Yeah, I know I had the same reaction. Actually it works pretty well at least I'm getting consistent lighting in my photos. Built this shadow box I call it because I can move the shadow by moving the light source around. What I need now is a good light like Moondoggy has been using or a halogen lamp on a tall enough stand to shine on the top of my box. I'm leaning toward the halogen because I can use it to highlight hair

My last coins for 2010

2010 Eagle finally arrives with company. I've been waiting for my 2010 Eagle PF70UC coin to arrive and she had company, a 1958 Franklin PF66CAM and a 1904 O Morgan MS64. These are my last additions for 2010, unless I get a stocking stuffer, and also completes my first year as a member of this great community of collectors. It's been great fun! Found this coin on ebay last week & couldn't pass it up. I've been reading journal posts from members regarding coins sold on ebay still registered to the original seller and this is my 2nd experience with this situation. Illness provides time for reflection
