Cash back on 2010 purchases nets a great coin!

After reading a journal posted by WKF last October (great tip by the way-thanks) I checked out the eBay bucks cash back program and decided to enroll. Just received my first cash back coupon for Xmas shopping and coin purchases on eBay during the last quarter of 2010. I have until February to redeem the coupon so I started trolling for something suitable thinking I could double the coupon and upgrade something.

Last weekend I found an auction for a 1964 Kennedy Half Dollar PF67 W Ultra Cameo. The FMV for this coin is $131 and I felt it could go higher maybe $150. Monday morning I placed an initial bid at 60% of FMV and gave myself enough time to counter if I needed to. The bidding continued but only reached 45% of FMV, I had won! I was happy to have the coin and elated at the price, less the cash back coupon I purchased the coin for $1.46??..nice!
