Coin: 1789/8 MO FM CAROLUS III (https://www.ngccoin.com/certlookup/2913082-004/NGCDetails/)

2. Set: https://www.ngccoin.com/registry/competitive/mexico/mexico/1951/definition/

Coin 1: 1799/8MO FM (https://www.ngccoin.com/certlookup/2913082-006/NGCDetails/)

Coin 2: 1800/700MO FM (https://www.ngccoin.com/certlookup/2913082-007/NGCDetails/)

Additionally, in that last set, please remove the incorrectly listed 1800/70MO FM slot as the correct variety is the one listed above as coin #2 (1800/700MO FM)

Thank you.

I collect gold Australia coins. I have purchased some NGC graded coins in the past that were 2021 and 2022 gold $2 proofs. I was happy to find that there were slots to add them to a registry. It is extremely annoying and very frustrating to purchase coins and then learn there are no registry or slot for it. Anyway, I found slots for both those, be it slightly confusing because it was in a place that was labeled as mint state Kangaroo Gold $2, 2010-Date, Mint State. But I was thrilled to add them. I since purchased another $2 NGC graded gold proof that is the 2023 issue. No slot or registry found for the coin, but when I asked for a slot to be made for it where I already have my other $2 gold proof Kangaroos, it was denied. Why were other proof coins given a slot in this registry and this proof is not. Not sure what the solution might be, but just want to have a registry that has slots for all my prized Australia Gold $2 Kangaroo coins.

Thanks,

Tom

Hi Ali,

Hope all is well with you and your minions. I'm not sure if my last message got through, so I'm trying here just in case and please forgive me if I'm repeating myself (happens after too many glasses of Burgundy.) There is a new Registry Set, Niue - Silver $2, Lunar Series, 2021-2032, Proof, where the coins have slots in this subset, but not in the main set for those years. Example, 2907948-001 2024 Gilt Niue S$2 Year Of The Dragon, has a slot in the Lunar subset, but not in the main Registry Set for all coins of that year - Niue - Silver $2, 2024, Proof and Prooflike. The same for the other coins in the subset, 6310671-013 2022 Niue S$2 Chibi Year Of The Tiger, and 2891416-002 Niue S$2 Chibi Year Of The Rabbit, they do not have slots in the main Regitry Set for those years, Niue - Silver S$2 2022, Proof, Prooflike and Specimen and Niue - Silver $2 2023, Proof and Prooflike, respectively. Since all other coins have slots in their subset Registries (Silver $2 Disney 2014-Date, Silver $2 Chibi DC Comics 2020-Date, Silver S$2 Chibi Harry Potter 2020-Date, DC Comics, 2014-Date, Silver Issues, Complete, etc.), it just didn't make since the Lunar coins would be excluded from the main Registry Sets for their espective years.

I also had a few slots needing corrections:

6594255-009 2022 Niue S$2 Catwoman - Chibi Batman Series, the coin is in the Registry Set Niue - Silver $2, 2023, Proof and Prooflike - it should only be in the Niue - Silver $2, 2022, Proof, Prooflike and Specimen Set where it already has a slot.

In the Registry Set Niue - Silver $2, 2018, Proof and Prooflike, the slot Woddy-Disney Pixar Toy Story should be Woody

In the Registry Set Niue - Silver $2, 2019, Proof and Prooflike, the slot Carnival Pluta should be Pluto

In the Registry Set Niue - Silver $2, 2020, Proof and Prooflike, the slot Auror Gemstone - Disney Princess should be Aurora, the slot Plute 90th Anniversary - Original Buddies - Disney Characters, should be Pluto

In the Refgistry Set Niue - Silver $2, 2021, Proof and Prooflike, the slot Alice - Alice In Wonderful - Disney Characters should be Wonderland, the slot Deathy Hollows Part 1 - Harry Potter Movie Poster should be Deathly, the slot White Rabbin - Alice In Wonderland - Disney Characters should be Rabbit

In the Registry Set Niue - Silver $2, 2022, Proof, Prooflike and Specimen, the slot 101 Dalmations - Plantation should be Dalmatians, the slot Bumbleebee - Transformers should be Bumblebee

In the Registry Set Niue - Silver $2, 2023, Proof and Prooflike, the slot 2023 Black Panther - Marvel - Classic Superheroe should be Superheroes, the slot Bevis - Beavis and Butt-head 30th Anniversary should be Beavis, the slot 2023 Captain America - Marvel Classic Superheroe should be Superheroes, the slot 2023 Detective Comics #7 - Comix should be #27, the slot 2023 Hahn Solo Portrait - Star Wars Trading Coins should be Han, the slot 2023 Qui-Gon Gin - Chibi Star Wars Series should be Jinn, the slot 2023 Qui-Gon Jin - Chibi Stars Wars Series - Gilt should be Jinn, the slot 2023 Shazam - DC Comics: Classic Superheroe should be Superheroes, 2023 Thor - Marvel - Classic Superheroe should be Superheroes, 2023 Wonder Woman DC Comics: Classic Superheroe should be Superheroes

Cheers,

Dan Hughes

Hello, @Dan Hughes.

Goodness, that is a large number of typos! Thanks for letting us know. We will get those taken care of asap. As for lunar coins, we treat them separately in NGC Registry sets. This enables our collector base who focuses purely on lunar coins to have designated sets. Also, given the sheer volume of other modern world coins produced, (especially in Canada, Niue, Australia, etc.,) this gives collectors of the commemorative modern world coins a better chance of obtaining 100% completion in their sets. You may create a Custom NGC Registry set if you wish to combine them all. If you have any other questions, please let me know. Thanks, and have a good day!

Hi Ali,

Could you please remove the silver coin "2023 Flying Scotsman" from the "Great Britain - Two Pounds, Commemorative, Charles III, 2023-Date, Proof" set?  It being a base metal set, not for the silver issues. (See attached pic)

There are also a lot of silver coins and mislabeled coins in the "Five Pounds, Commemorative, Elizabeth II, 1993-2023, Proof" set. This also being a base metal set. Listed below:

1999 MILLENNIUM
(a mislabel)

2002 QUEEN MOTHER
(a mislabel)

2004 ENTENTE CORDIALE
(there is only a reverse Proof and it is already listed)

2013 QUEEN'S CORONATION ANNIVERSARY - GILT
(silver coin)

2014 QUEEN ANNE 300TH ANNIV. OF DEATH - GILT
(silver coin)

2015 ROYAL BABY BIRTH - DUKE & DUCHESS OF CAMBRIDGE
(silver coin)

2020 QEII Platinum Jubilee - Coronation Obverse
(silver coin)

2022 King Henry VII
(silver coin)

2022 The Commonwealth
(silver coin)

2022 Tutankhamun's Tomb Discovery 100th Anniv.
(silver coin)

Thank you very much for your help with this,
Brett

Hi, @THE WELSH DRAGON, Brett.

Hope you are doing well. We will get the necessary changes made. What do you mean "mislabel?" I don't see any spelling errors in the Registry set. If you are referring to mislabeled coins, that would need to go through Customer Service first. After any changes are made on their side and in the grading screen, then any changes will filter down to the NGC Registry after that.

You may reach them at service@ngccoin.com or at 1-855-GRADE10 (855-472-3310).  Thanks.

Hi Ali,

Sorry about that, I wasn't very clear on what I meant. No, I don't have them, but someone out there does. If you look in the registry you will see that only one coin has been graded in these "mislabels". That's because these only come in silver issues and NGC has labeled one as a base metal proof, when it should have been labeled a silver proof.

That's the problem with mislabels, there is one person out there that has a unfair advantage because they own a coin that shouldn't exist. I actually participated in this very act when about 2 years ago I received my grades on an order and they labeled one of my "Queen's Beasts" coins as a piedfort. You added it to the set for me and then it was quickly removed because it was another mislabel.

It's really my problem, because I have this stupid OCD and I need to see all my sets at 100% completed, or at least the possibility of it. When there is an impossible slot to fill, it drives me crazy.

Thank you for your help,

Brett

Hi Ali,

Speaking of mis-labeling..... I have an order (#2917326) that has 15 coins (in a 51 coin order) entered incorrectly. We will see how many of those 15 get corrected through the process. It use to be that if they were entered wrong in receiving then they usually were wrong at shipment. But I have noticed that they have been catching most of them here recently. But usually it's only been one or two. I think with 15 being wrong I would imagine there's going to be some that don't get corrected.

Hello, Brett, @THE WELSH DRAGON.

We appreciate your feedback. Of course, we want to be as accurate as possible on NGC labels and in the NGC Registry. I forwarded your message to service@NGCcoin.com, so they can research that. I can relate to the need to be 100% complete, for sure. :) Thanks again.

Hello, @THE WELSH DRAGON.

I am sorry to hear of mis-labels, Brett. We would like to get any potential misinformation corrected, of course. The NGC Registry thread/posts are not monitored by anyone in Customer Service. I believe the ASK NGC thread is monitored by someone on the CS teamhttps://boards.ngccoin.com/forum/9-ask-ngcncs/. However, I am not privy as to how often they check those posts.

For a fast response, I recommend callingYou may reach them at 1-855-GRADE10 (855-472-3310) or via email at service@ngccoin.comThanks very much.
